Appearance: Ashe is a woman of an average height for a short woman at 5 foot 4 and hair just as dark as mud after a rainy day. Her dark hair sweeps down to her upper back with a neatly combed edge at the end of her hair and the young woman's eyes carry a smooth brown gaze that gives a brief subtle warm feeling to those whom are on the receiving end of her gaze. In between her sleek nose and her eyes is littered with small freckles stopping at the edge of her tan skinned cheeks. Looking further down she appears to be a woman with strong calve muscles and tanned skin from being outdoors.
Character ConceptAshe can be described in many ways, One moment she may be lounging around in whatever small dwelling is declared to be 'hers', And the other she may be roaming about outside her dwelling speaking with people whom she might be better off not conversing with at all. She can often be compared to a domesticated house cat, doing whatever that pleased her or that drew closer to a goal that she set for herself, and if she does something that earned the applause of others inadvertently, She'll gladly take it. Although she may be compared to a house cat, her desire for adventure breaks the cycle of being nothing more than an average healer, or an average blacksmith, and it brings Ashe peace knowing that she will have a story to share with others whom are willing to listen.
Character HistoryBorn in Sunberth and of human descent. Ashe was born among the Reimancers hidden under the cover of different occupations and her parents opted disguise as healers in the lawless city where magic is considered taboo. At a young age Ashe helped her parents with simple medical procedures consisting of everything from placing broken bones in a splint to dressing slash wounds from weapons from riots that sprouted from time to time.
Ashe was the youngest of a few children born into the family and starting from the time they learned to read her parents started to teach them the in-depth basics of Reimancy while keeping a careful eye out for those who may be watching. It was no secret to her and her elder siblings that their parents wanted them to learn magic. By the time Ashe's eldest brother neared the age of 13 winters the two parents made subtle inquiries into having other Reimancers assist in their children's initiation and help train them for a favor of Ashe's parents returning the same favor for their children or by helping keeping the forbidden secret alive. There was little need for prying as a small group of Reimancers under the disguises of Weapon smiths, Glass blowers, and other healers came to assist.
As Ashe grew older she found herself along with one of her elder siblings being sent on errands to help the owners of the Weapon Smithies, Glass shops, and other doctor's offices. Mostly the errands consisted of correspondence that was delivered daily on lesser dangerous routes compared to most of the city and on occasion she was rewarded with pointers on combat with staves one of the Weapon Smiths preferred to forge. She finished the pointers when the Weapon Smith ran out of good ideas on how to operate the weapon and taught her fire reimancy when she was initiated on her 10th winter.
Initially Ashe's parents objected to the thought of the youngest going through the initiation three years before her elder siblings but later that day they changed their mind and went on with the initiation. Their minds were quickly changed when one of the doctors announced their leave a few nights in advance and at the initiation the families said a farewell to the doctor's family as they left for a lesser anarchic city.
Four years after the initiation Ashe finished lessons in a decent level of fire reimancy with the Weaponsmith and she asked around the other offices to find the doctor within the agreement with her parents to teach her water reimancy for a couple of years until the Massive Djed storm of 512. The storm was coming and Ashe noticed the demeanors of the people not just animals changing in the streets around her. Residents other than the ones who knew her parents took her off the streets and got her shelter as the storm passed with frightening sounds outside. After the storm of 512 Ashe's family laid in shambles as every one of them tried to protect each other and died leaving behind a sole survivor named Ashe.
During the immediate reconstruction, Ashe was demoralized, the bloodied and burnt bodies of her family members laid scattered across the ground. All she could do was run then hide with an iron staff given to her as a gift from a close ally and whatever Miza she could find in her parent's room of her home. Almost a week later she had snapped out of her horrifying experience and had her home rebuilt with a portion of what was left from the destruction of her home with the help of family friends.
Afterwards she kept to herself and the small group of people who knew her and accepted her as a person practicing magic...
