Beodan blinked. Once. Twice. A third time. The black tendrils of loneliness that had gripped him were retreating from his body, going to sleep for now. His eyes could see, but his mind had just started to come back to reality, and the sight before him shocked him. The Divine Wolf was on her knees, a hand clutching at her stomach, Skae standing over her. The strange woman’s left fist was descending rapidly towards Nikia’s head, and he gasped, willing her to do something.
His breath released in a relieved sigh when she caught the arm and pulled Skae off balance, the wolf quickly swinging another fist. They both looked dangerous, but in an animalistic way. Less practiced maneuvers, and more raw instinct driving the fight. He was not one for fighting, would not hurt a fly… Well that was a bad example (he regularly pummeled flies off of his rear with powerful jerks of his tail), but for the most part, he was a pacifist. What were they even fighting over? He could not begin to guess. The falls maybe? No point in taking shots in the dark while the fight was actually occurring. Dan did not know what to do. He could attempt to break it up somehow, but he did not have any skills with which to defend himself. Unless they let him feed them some particular herbs and wait a little while, then they would be sorry! Artificial headaches coming up!
That was not realistic though. Beodan’s brow furrowed, and he let out an anxious snort. He did not like this one bit! Especially since he felt so useless sitting off to the side. He focused his gaze back on Nikia, whose arm was still covering her abdomen. He smiled as she sweared at her opponent, but hoped she would not let her guard down. Trapped in indecision, he continued to watch.
OOCRight at first blood, Beodan is joining the fray! That is when he will begin to comprehend how serious this is.
