Hi everybody. I'll be joining you in Riverfall, at least for a while. So.. I might have missed it, but is there a good (and by good i mean cheap) place for a traveller to stay in Riverfall, and if so how much does it cost?

Welcome guys! It's great to see some new faces. Tsavin, there's a Kulkukan Tavern and Inn on the third tier. I don't think it actually has a location thread yet, but its as good of place as any to stay. Charon probably has prices, but the Price List in the wiki has the rates of rooms per day etc.

Welcome to you, too Tsavin! The tavern and inn has been next on my list of locations to develop for the last couple weeks so I'm going to take the gentle prod to put it up! I will be using the master price list Kavala mentioned, so feel free to start your own thread for now or if you would rather wait a couple days that's fine too. I should have the location up sooner rather than later as it should be a relatively central/busy place in the city especially as more people come to visit during the more beautiful spring and summer seasons!

I'm making a personal goal to have the location write up posted no later than Tuesday evening, but I do hope to have it up before then depending on how easily those creative juices I have stored in jars in the kitchen flow.

Anyway, welcome again and make sure Kavala doesn't intimidate you too much around here!

As I am doing a flashback thread with Nick. I think I will start up a thread with the current Phoenix. However some advice might be in order. Any suggestion on how to play a Creulean? Just out of curiosity. I got the Akalak thingy down but I don't wan't to go overboard on the darker side of his nature or anything like that. Also if anyone has a thread they would be interested for me to interact with just let me know.

Concerning playing as a Cerulean, I would personally suggest you spend time developing your darker and lighter sides as a normal member of society. This way, you can get a better feel for your character, develop the "Akalak thingy" to your desires, and play with when/how your other side comes out. Cerulean, as mentioned in their lore page, are named by the Council and their faces tattooed so all Akalak are aware of their status. It is something I would suggest that if you want to delve into you develop through roleplay (and by all means I'm here to help with each step!).

You mentioned that you don't want to take your darker half too far, but in order to be classified as a Cerulean you will have to prove to the Council (or they will have to make the assumption) that it is your darker side that motivates your actions. Once "sentenced" to the Cerulean, there's no turning back, so it is a decision not to take lightly. Of course, Ceruleans are a required part of Akalak society and Riverfall will have uses for them.

Anyway, think about it some, keep roleplaying your character and see what fits best for you or the direction you want to take it. If you want ideas or want to run ideas by me, go ahead and send me a PM and we'll see what we can do!
