With this new body, Bakar finally realized something. She no longer had the correct undergarments. Sure, she could wear the same clothes as the previous body, albeit cut and uneven. But she never had the correct clothes to start with in this case. She shook her head and left her room, making her way to the market to buy some simple clothes. The man beside her noticed her again, and gave her a friendly nod, which she returned. Her body was still becoming accustomed to her unnatural presence, so she didn't bother putting on any makeup. She was just pale.
She went through the maze like corridors of the dimly lit fortress, passing beggers and merchants, civilians and knights. Some of the knights were attempting to move along a begger, who was insistent that they were doing nothing wrong. It escalated, and the knights were forced to subdue the man, and carry him to the jail for investigation. "If you're going to beg, do it out of sight of the knights.." Bakar whispered to herself. She hadn't resorted to begging yet, but it was clear that it was frowned upon. Knights didn't want them "dirtying" their streets, she assumed.
She finally arrived at the Bazaar, and went about looking for a clothing stall where she could buy some cheap clothes. She held onto the frames of the stalls to keep her balance, and some of the stall owners shot her glances and watched her carefully, making sure she wasn't stealing anything. As she was walking past a particularity crowded stall, she was shoved aside, and she stumbled.. right into a knight. She quickly pulled herself away from the man, and apologized profusely, staring at the ground. Upon looking up, she was greeted by a familiar face.
"O-oh.. I'm sorry Garland, I was just here to get some things real quick.. I got pushed, and I stumbled.. I'm glad it was you though.. I-I mean, that's not to say it's good that I fell into you, but if it was anyone else I'd be scared they would drag me away.." She slumps forward and breathed a "sigh" of relief.
