50th Summer, 515AV
It was early in the morning, just before sunrise when Revy had gotten out of bed. Apparently her patron had decided that she should go with a wing, to see how the knights operated in larger groups. What she had seen so far wasn't sufficient enough, for her to actually be able to work within the knights after knighthood. She wasn't looking forward to it particularly. Why she didn't know, but she just had that feeling of dread.
After putting on her plate armor, she heard the all too familiar bonking on the door. Her patron was here and the squire could only sigh. "Yeah yeah, give me a second. Let me grab my weapon and shield.", she replied as she slung her shield onto her back. She also grabbed her dagger, securing it on the back of her hip and then picked up her longsword. At this point in time it was still not worth the effort of dragging her other weapons around. She just wasn't familiar enough with them yet.
Revy's patron had her own wing to run a patrol with today, but she deemed it too dangerous for her squire. Despite knowing that Revy was probably better in a fight then herself, she wasn't used to working with her wing. "I'll be dropping you with a different wing from mine. I don't think that you would fit with mine, nor that I could ensure your safety. Before you start complaining like a kid, remember that you are not used to working in a wing. That's why I'm leaving you with a different wing", she explained.
Revy could sort of understand. Of course she didn't agree with the fact that it was too dangerous, but there was no point arguing. At most she'd piss Theresa off and that wasn't really a smart idea. She had done so a few times and each time she regretted it. Her patron either found a way to put Revy to studying, or put her to work with thing she absolutely disliked. In short, her patron found something to punish her with.
After having picked up Rosalind from the Windmount stables, the two went towards the gate of Syliras. There they met up with the both Theresa's wing and the other wing, which Revy was supposed to join. "Hail Ser Andres. Would you mind taking care of my squire? The part where I have to go is just a tad too dangerous for her. Your route should be safer for her", she said to the wing's leader.
Revy didn't see the leader, but the name sounded familiar. It wasn't the guy who she thought it was right? Anyway, she kinda wanted to just get out of here, but orders are orders. She was supposed to go with them, so she would do so. She didn't have her visor down, so at least her face was visible. For the rest she was completely clad in her black armor.
