The end means a new beginning (Iris Dove)

Miya kept her head tilted, looking all over the bar before slowly shifting in her seat and taking the cup in her hand. It was quite silly the way this girl could change her mood
Now, as I was saying, this bar is getting more and more dirty each day. It is almost impossible to stay here.

Her eyes moved to the waiter when she said that, making sure he's heard what she just said. Her lips curled into a smile as she turned towards Iris again.
It seems like the kitten ate their tongues, and after she said that, it was clear as a day. Her eyes weren't human, not anymore. They weren't changing back, nor was she worried about it a bit too much.

Her eyes were the ones of a wild cat, her fangs got just a bit longer and her blonde hair seemed a bit more... wild?...
Miya always liked the way she looked when she was mad, but she wasn't sure Iris did.
I'm sorry if iIve scared you...
When will I be unleashed?
It's not the way it should be.
Yearning again only to be myself
When I'm free...

Unleash my consciousness, please...

The end means a new beginning (Iris Dove)

Miya lifted her cup of tea and said, "Now, as I was saying, this bar is getting more and more dirty each day. It is almost impossible to stay here," she said it so loudly that the waiter may have been able to hear. When the waiter looked up at Miya from where he stood behind the bar, drying a glass with a dirty rag, Iris sunk in her seat a bit, and her cheeks grew a little red, how embarrassing, she thought, as she stared down at her hands.

"It seems like the kitten ate their tongues," Miya chirped as the men around them quieted down and went about their business- whether that be drinking more, cleaning, or beating the heck out of someone else.

When Iris looked up again- something about Miya had changed, she seemed, different, for lack of a better word. Her eyes glowed in a way that made her seem rather bestial. Iris wondered, once more, if she was a Kelvic like herself.

Miya's voice broke her train of thought, "I'm sorry if iIve scared you..." her voice trailed off. Iris didn't reply. Surely, if this girl was a Kelvic, she wouldn't make the mistake of shifting in public? Not with all these people around, especially because once she started to shift, she wouldn't be able to stop.

Miya's eyes kept their shape. She wasn't planing on shifting into her animal form, but she was mad. Really, really, really mad, because of what happened around them.

She kept trying to stay as a human, sipping her tea before she lightly stood up, whispering to Iris
I will be back in a minute, I just need to go outside to the bathroom...
looking all over the tavern as she walked by, making sure they got the point and that they wouldn't bother Iris while she was away.

Stepping out of the tavern, she ran as far as she could, to the most quiet place she could find and took her dress off, growling quietly as she changed into her animal form, sighing almost as deep as a human would, before laying down next to her dress for just two or three minutes.

Her mind went back to Iris, standing up and slowly changing into her human form again. It was extremely cold and without her dress, it was almost making her freez to death.

She rushed her way into the tavern again, ten or so minutes later, at the most, whispering quietly as she walked to Iris again
I'm sorry, the dirty cup made my stomach feel odd...

Her eyes were bright blue again, hair calm and blonde, skin pale and fangs short as if they were normal, human ones.
When will I be unleashed?
It's not the way it should be.
Yearning again only to be myself
When I'm free...

Unleash my consciousness, please...

Miya seemed flighty, something was on her mind, Iris thought, as she watched Miya sip her drink before whispering, "I will be back in a minute, I just need to go outside to the bathroom..."

It seemed as though Miya bolted out of the tavern, before Iris could say or do anything to stop her or calm her down. Great, Iris thought, I'm stuck in a pub with a bunch of drunken creeps.

Not wanting to draw any more attention to herself, Iris pulled her comb out of her bag, and ran it through her long blonde hair a few times as she waited for Miya to return, and Miya did return, about 10 minutes later, saying, "I'm sorry, the dirty cup made my stomach feel odd..." Iris eyed her suspiciously, something was telling her that Miya's words weren't entirely true. But she simply smiled. She was happy Miya's eyes were calm and blue again, and that she had seemed to overcome her angry spell.

"Feeling better?" Iris asked.

Miya smiled back warmly and whispered as she leaned over Iris "I think we should talk when we get out of here...".

This was the first time Miya was honest about herself to someone, so one really could feel good about themselves. Her eyes seemed even more beautiful and childlish, innocent looking then before.

"I'm really sorry about leaving that way.... I really had problems I had to deal with, Miya added as she sat back down, looking around the place and trying to figure out if something changed

Miya smiled back warmly and whispered as she leaned over Iris, "I think we should talk when we get out of here...I'm really sorry about leaving that way.... I really had problems I had to deal with," Miya added as she sat back down.

Iris smiled and nodded, "that's ok," she whispered, as Miya asked, "did they bother you?"

"No, not at all, I was just combing my hair," Iris replied as she put her comb back in her bag. She had more than gotten the knots out of her hair within the time it took for Miya to leave, and then return to their table.

"Did you want to go somewhere else?" Iris asked as a man toppled over the side of his seat. He must be pretty drunk, Iris thought to herself.

Miya shook her head lightly. It was quite obvious that she was feeling good after all of that. She might have even needed that.

"I do not have anywhere else to go, to be honest", Miya added and slowly leaned back in her chair with a depressed look on her face. Just the thought of being outside in the cold was terrifying.

Her eyes moved over the tavern again, looking for a friendly face or two, but she had no luck. All of them were the same. Sick and annoying looking men and women with nothing better to do then stare at the two girls trying to have a conversation.

"I do not have anywhere else to go, to be honest," Miya replied before leaning back in her seat. Iris nodded. She really wanted to talk to Miya openly, but it was obvious that it would be extraordinarily hard to do so in the bar, even if just about everyone but the two of them were drunk.

Iris wasn't used to the attention she and Miya had been receiving, in a way, it was strangely flattering, but, it was also out of place, and discomforting too. Not knowing what to do now, Iris simply sat for in silence, as another glass fell to the ground, as its owner fell out of his seat in a drunken stupor. Iris shook her head, "men," she muttered under her breath.

There was a short pause before Iris asked Miya, "so how long have you been in town?" hoping to distract herself from the pitiful display of human nature that was occurring all around her.

Miya shook her head and rolled her eyes. It was almost unbelievable how men could be stupid. Her fingers moved over the table in front of her like she was drawing something
"They are so annoying..."

As soon as Miya heard Iris' question, she slowly moved back to the normal sitting position. Her face was calm and her lips curled up in a smile, even though it was not as wide as it was before
"Well, I'm here for a while... about six months I think... or so... but I don't tend to spend a lot of time around people."

Miya was honest about that. She was scared of the people more then anything.

"They are so annoying..." Miya said. Iris simply laughed, she know she shouldn't, but she couldn't help it. Drunken men were kind of stupid as far as she was concerned, and as long as she wasn't serving any of them, she didn't suppose she had to be nice all the time. But then again, a part of her felt bad for them, and the fact that they made such utter fools out of themselves.

Within a minute, Iris had stopped laughing, "well, I'm here for a while... about six months I think... or so... but I don't tend to spend a lot of time around people," Miya said, eventually, in response to her question.

"Well, I certainly haven't been here that long," Iris replied, "it hasn't even been a full month yet." She paused, "But then again, I really am the type that just passes through before moving on again."
