Ruari Darkwind;

Physical Appearance:
Ruari is a small girl with a fairly plain face. Her hair colour is a fiery red, similar to that of her father, and her eyes are the same stormy green as his. She's small and willowy, jokingly told she'd be blown away in the wind someday, but she tries not to be. Her mother's features were shared sparsely, but Ruari is her size because of her, and they share the same length of thin fingers and shape of their eyes.

The girl possesses an elaborate set of windmarks* upon her back and her sides. Although they were acquired when Ruari bonded to Rhoswen, they also serve to symbolise her ties to Zulrav and Semele, to Caiyha, and also to the birds that the Darkwind clan were once renown for.

Personality:
A small woman with a kind heart and a mischievous flair for drama, Ruari is generally a reserved and level-headed girl with open curiosity. Her voice rarely raises in anger or the heat of the moment, as she's generally seen as a calm force within a family that often bickers amongst itself. Her mother's overbearing desire to humiliate the other wives of Ruari's father has never rubbed off on the girl, and in her family she is definitely one of the more introverted children. It's when she's in the presence of friends, of people she can say she loves, that she opens up into the bright child she has always been. There's mischief in her, a thrill for adventure, and also the solemn promise of love.

Ruari has an eidetic memory and thus a good grasp of new concepts and ideas as well as a firm familiarity of knowledge she's already gathered and built upon. However, Ruari will record her knowledge when and however she can in an effort to document and later share her knowledge, as she cannot connect to the Web and so can't access the knowledge there. More often than not, her notes are random Common words or crudely drawn pictures as Pavi has no written form.

Ruari is faithful to a vast pantheon of deities, most importantly Zulrav and Semele. However, she counts Caiyha, Syna, and Makutsi as important. There are other names, but none are as important as the five she follows most closely.

History:
Ruari has lived a standard life for a Drykas girl, having been born to her father's second wife with an already large family to be there for her. She was a voracious child, seeking knowledge and adventure under the feet of horses and man alike, but ultimately careful.

Her future is unclear, but there is the promise of marriage in it.

Heirloom: A Healer's Toolkit that belonged to the first wife of Ruari's father. It's old and careworn, but the supplies within are new.

Special Items:
Jade Bottle: During an event in the Summer of 515, a silver chest appeared under mysterious conditions in Endrykas. With no person claiming it as their own and being unable to remove, it was an oddity that drew many Drykas to it. Ruari was one of them.

The chest had a habit of taking one thing in exchange for another, so Ruari placed in it one of the few things she had that were immensely valuable to her: a simple jade. When she lifted the lid again, in the chest was this bottle.

Opening the polished lid attached to the bottle with a thin, silver chain, would reveal nothing, but if the girl were to turn the vessel upside down, an endless stream of rich, red soil would spill from the mouth like sand through an hourglass.

It is impossible to fill the bottle with anything else though when peeking inside, it appears empty. This tiny vessel harvests the power to form mountains, albeit at a very slow rate.

The jade bottle of earth will only work for Ruari; turned up by anyone else it does nothing. The soil is very rich and fertile.
