AppearanceRace: Nuit
Gender: Currently Male
Age: 416
Birthday: 81st of Winter, 100 AV
Birthplace: Riverfall
Appearance: Minnim has had many different bodies. However, none are memorable, save for his original.
Current Body
Minnim's newest body is an elderly male Human. Though not Minnim's ideal pick, he was running short on time, and needed a new body quickly. So, this is what he got.
Minnim stands at 5' 6", which is fairly average for the body he resides in, though shorter than he is used to. He appears to be slightly older than the age the man whose body he took; one might guess that he was 50 or so. His eyes are dark and set deep into his face, while his skin is dry, wrinkled, and pale. His hair is light colored, as the result of old age, and he sports a curling beard which mostly hides his crooked and yellowed teeth.
He is thin- only about 125 pounds, and has little to no muscle definition. Instead, Minnim has weak and old arms and legs. Minnim's fingers are still dexterous, however, and serve him well in his weaving.
Original Body
Minnim's original body was that of a Human female. She was tall and beautiful, with long flowing dark hair and a shapely body. Her eyes were a chocolate brown and her skin was a golden tan. She was not well-muscled, for she never did any hard labor. Instead, Minnim had thin and calloused fingers from her work weaving.
Although slightly overweight at 170 lbs for her 5' 9" form, this only added to her beauty, and rarely did anyone notice her small belly. Instead, one might notice her cheeks bulging or her lips tightening when she smiled.
Character ConceptAs an old nuit, Minnim has become weary. He finds day-to-day life monotonous, and fills most of his time with work, whether this be weaving or animation. If even this bores him, he will occasionally create mischief, just for the fun of it. However, Minnim's mischief is never malicious.
He does not make friends, as a habit, because they only come to hate him, fear him, or die eventually. Instead, Minnim can often be found talking to himself and his creations, as a way of keeping himself company.
Minnim no longer considers himself to have a gender, for that is lost once you have occupied so many different bodies. However, he does still use the gender of whatever body he is in to refer to himself, for simplicity's sake. Similarly, Minnim no longer thinks of himself as "Minnim", for this was his original name and does not fit him anymore. But he keeps the name, because he does not have the motivation to change it, and does not want to go through that hassle.
Once a friendly and cheery woman, Minnim is now a reclusive and distant man. He tries his best to stay out of harm's way, and prefers to settle situations verbally. This is the main reason he took up hypnotism; he wanted to be able to persuade people to calm down and leave him alone, rather than continue to argue.
Because of Minnim's need for keeping his Nuit status secret, he finds himself attracted to the Goddess Akajia. He has begun to worship her since his turning, and has since become more tied to her, and her ideals of darkness and stealth.
Character HistoryPre-turning:
Minnim was a human female, originally. She was married to an Inartan boy, and had two young children. They were twins, even; a little boy and girl. She worked for a small stall in the markets in her hometown of Riverfall, weaving yarn to be sold. She was content there, and enjoyed her life, but it was regular and predictable.
In the Summer of 126 AV, she began experiencing some wanderlust. She wanted to go places and do things. So, ready for adventure, Minnim left her husband and children behind. She went out to sea with a Svefra family, exploring the coasts of each town as they went. It was a fabulous time, and Minnim learned much on her travels. That is, until they visited Sahova.
The stop to Sahova was an emergency one, and so the Svefra were all busy working to get the ship going again. Minnim wandered off to explore the city while they worked. While there, Minnim had the misfortune to stumble upon one of the ARMED laboratories, where she underwent the Daek-nuit transformation. She survived, and became undead from there on.
Post-turning:
Afraid to return to her family for what they might think of her, Minnim stayed in Sahova, where she studied animation and golems for over 350 years. Now Minnim has returned to the lively scholars town of Zeltiva, hoping to continue his studies in animation while also honing and making use of his skills in weaving.
