The Wilderness of Cyphrus is an endless sea of tall grass that rolls just like the oceans themselves. Geysers kiss the sky with their steamy breath, and mysterious craters create microworlds all their own. But above all danger lives here in the tall grass in the form of fierce wild creatures; elegant serpents that swim through the land like whales through the ocean and fierce packs of glassbeaks that hunt in packs which are only kept at bay by fires. Traverse it carefully, with a guide if possible, for those that venture alone endanger themselves in countless ways.

Aleksi was smiling and letting her head move over Tebridiar's every now and then, before whispering warmly "You can ask anything you want baby... as long as he's polite, he'll have a chance to answer". She never had any mercy towards strangers, not even Drykas people, and especially not now, with Tebridiar, the one she loved the most, there.

As soon as she heard the man growling behind them, she stopped her horse, turning her head to the side and adding in a calm tone, with fire practically shooting out of her eyes "You watch your mouth... Remember, you're the one needing help around here... when you talk to this young lady, you will do it with respect, or you and I will have another chat...". Turning back towards the rode, she mumbled "Jerk" under her breath and sighed.

After the man asked that question, Aleksi couldn't but not to laugh. She shook her head and whispered so only Tebridiar could hear her "Can you believe that idiot?". Her voice, this time was a bit louder, but just as calm as she made her threat before "That's because we're not sisters, you moron... Sheesh...". Yup, Aleksi knew that the question like that many would ask. Why would two women be together, especially this way? Especially since one of them was a Drykas warrior.

Tebridiar had to suppress a snort of laughter.

Sisters? If they were sisters some of the stuff they were planning to do would not only be immoral, it would be illegal.

She smiled warmly at the Drykas in front of her. She’d love to show “Captain Trios” just exactly how close they were, but she decided against it. Kissing on a horse was just asking for an accident to happen.

“Well, Trios, do not threaten my Drykas lady!”
She called, giggling madly. “Sisters? And you make that assumption based on what? We look nothing alike. Look at us both, she is strong and powerful, I am light and quick. She is inked, I am bare…” She stopped for a second. She wasn’t entirely without her skin imperfections. Her fingers moved towards her back again. “Oh and the eyes and hair. Basically nothing alike. And I’m not even Drykas! Not yet. But when we bond, I probably will be.”

Bond? Maybe this would make him guess he she was a Kelvic. Anyway, he didn’t have to know this bond was out of love, no some sort of weird Kelvic slave thing. Tebridiar shuddered at the thought. Then she smiled.

It was fun toying with Trios.

She fluttered her eyelashes at him, flashing a pretty smile. Hint hint? Bond? Drykas lady? She didn't want to spell it out.

If he didn't know the relationship of these two travellers he'd have to know soon. He would probably be the first to know, if he did. Or had she let too much slip?

“Don’t you think I don’t know that, doesn’t mean I have to enjoy it lassy” Trios said in a more calmer tone of voice before mumbling "Ya tattoo’d devil" under his breath. This Aleksi loved rubbing salt in the wound and still yelled at the Isur when he flinched in pain. Trios was even debating if getting eaten by the large predator cat was more of a mercy than walking behind the female.

“You don’t need too tell me what I already can see kidd-o, same to them fluttery eyes o’yours I'm not that blind” Sighed Trios in his cold manner at Tebridiar listing off the features of their descriptions. The Isur hated discussing observable facts that any man or women could see, didn’t he say that he could see the two were like sun and moon in difference?

So the two were lovers, it made no difference to the Isur, if they wanted to love one another who was he to say it was different then the normal. The only quarrel with their love would he have had is if it obstructed him from his goals. Since it did not there was no reason to care or give any sort of trepidation.

“And kid I could care less even if you were two goddesses that fell in a forbidden love, hell I’d even marry ya, if it meant I could get to Endrykas without any issues.” continued Trios in his natural tone as he rubbed his temple with his grey diamond-like left hand.

How were they expecting him to react anyway? Even if there was some sort of protest Trios would still have aired them in the face of fear of the guides getting angered and leaving him in the wild. Courage was looking down a drawn arrow and yelling “fire” in its face.

“Though I’d imagine the reception back at home would be a different story ya?” Trios questioned the ladies his face unchanged as if he already knew the answer slightly.

Aleksi growled as the Isur started talking again. He was being rude, or well, Alekis had a pretty bad temper around him, so this couldn't have ended good if he hadn't changed.

The way he was saying the other things made Aleksi a bit more calm. She moved her hand to Tebridiar's arm and rubbed it lightly, whispering in her ear "Are you cold love?". She couldn't stop worrying about the girl, not for a second. It felt like she was born just to protect and love this amazing creature in her arms. Was there anything out there that felt as good as being with her?

"Assumptions will do you no good around Drykas people, Isur... We are too proud to let that go unpunished...", her eyes went over to Tebridiar, looking at her with a worried look on her face. She knew it would be how the Isur man had said, but she didn't want to think about it. Tebridiar and Aleksi will bond and there was NOTHING Aleksi would allow to stop it.
"But yes, it is an unusual bond... a bond no one will stop as long as I am alive", she added in a protective manner before looking over her shoulder at Isur. He'd marry them? What was this man thinking, being this blunt? Would he survive even a day in the Tent City without getting in so much trouble, that he'd regret the day he was born.

"Aleksi, don't worry. I'm not too cold, not just yet. Ill manage!" She flashed a content smile.

Tebridiar was surprised. Trios didn’t seem to have a problem with the two girls relationship. That was, well, interesting. It made her smile.

Maybe Trios liked his own gender too?

She got quite a peculiar image in her head, which made her eyes widen and she instantly tried to pop it out. She couldn’t imagine a gay Isur controlling a ship. That would be asking for trouble…

The image resurfaced quickly but was beaten back by a bunch of imaginary horses.

Aleksi seemed proud of the bond they would share. It was wonderfully unusual, a proud female warrior with a nature loving girl who looked underage. Nice one. But she loved it because of its weirdness, and Tebridiar just snuggled warmly into the back of her very own Drykas.

Mine, mine, mine. She thought, She grinned again.

Then it occurred to her she must look like a psychopath, grinning oddly every so often. She looked at Trios again. What was he talking about, marrying them? This guy really would do anything to get to Endrykas, why did he want to be there so badly?

“Hmmn, yes Trios. They won’t accept us in that city as openly as you have done here.” She said, trying to sound wise, to mystify him again. “And the fact I look a little young, Ill need to do a bit of growing before we, um… you know.” She made a suggestive movement with her hand while looking nonchalantly in the opposite direction.

“Assumptions!? Hah! That kind of issue is a sort of fact there missy. “ Replied Trios to Aleksi’s prideful statements about her clan. Trios would have pressed the issue that it was funny about how much she loved her clan yet they seemed to reject the thing she held most dear to her heart. He wondered how much pride she’d have in her clan after that type of rejection.

“Though you may not like it, you guys aren’t much different than I. You two just haven’t hopped on a ship while cursing the world for what it be yet.” Laughed Trios a bit heartily at the two lovers now. It was funny they were trying to break tradition yet trying desperately to earn it’s acceptance. That was the problem with the world these days, there wasn’t much freedom to be hand anywhere. You’d live in small single minded clusters around a fire afraid at the shadows that dance around you in the night.

“But as I said before you can do what ever you want, I have no quarrel with it, least until it effects me somehow. It has the slightest impact what you gals plan to do in each other’s company, hell I still say go for it, even though I know it’s not that well looked upon in Endrykas..hahahahah Change it up on them I say, live the way you deem right-fully-so!” Boasted Trios in his cold manner his eyes seemed to enjoy the walk a bit more and more at each step with this type of conversation. Then an idea slammed into the man, an idea that seemed to make his soul flare up at what was being manifested in the Isur’s mind.

“And once I leave this grassy rock in a months time on my ship tell ya what, I can have ya both married to each other! Never done that before with my title yet, plus it’ll be a great shock to them Drykas of yours courtesy of me! The Great Captain Trios” Laughed the Isur at the idea, a great screw you to Drykas tradition was well up in things that would be highly amusing and a tale worthy feat to Tios.

“Or you could just hide your love from the people you seem to take so much pride in lassy, as I say what ever you do I could care less” Shrugged Trios shifting the pack on his shoulder to a more comfortable position.

Aleksi sighed deeply as the man talked about her clan. The words he was saying made her shake her head and whisper to Tebridiar "He's such a fool sometimes...". Her eyes moved back to the Isur man as she grinned in a twisted manner "See Isur, I don't think you've understood me very well... I am not talking about myself as a part of the clan.. I am telling you all this stuff so you don't get your dumb ass in trouble... and you should talk less as well, especially if you don't have anything smart to say..."

This man was getting on her nerves pretty bad with all the talking about her and Tebridiar, how they will not be accepted and blah, blah, blah... not because of herself, no, she couldn't care less, but because of what the girl in front of her would go through. At the suggestion of marriage, a beam of light seemed to be going straight from her smile. She turned around again and chuckled wickedly "Now see... that marriage thing is a tempting offer... but you're doing it for all the wrong reasons... You haven't even met my kind and you want to destroy their culture... how thoughtless of you", winking at him, she nuzzled against Tebridiar and kissed her neck warmly.

She loved the girl and if she could get the Isur to soften up a bit and actually do it cause he enjoyed in it, she would marry the one she wants to spend the rest of her life with, in a matter of seconds.

Tebridiar smiled as Aleksi kissed her neck, shutting her eyes.

Aww, what the heck? They could kiss on a horse.

She kissed Aleksi full on the lips, with a complete disregard for the little pirate who was standing a mere few feet away… he must have been enjoying himself. She lingered for a few moments, one hand in her hair, the other around her back. She felt... empowered. then tilted her head and smiled as she gazed into her eyes, then she moved to face Trios.

“Trios, if I’m not much different to you apart from the fact you got popped on a ship, I am steering clear from travel by sea!” She grinned. Then she got curious. She had never seen the sea. “I havent ever seen the sea, Isur. What’s it like? What does being on a boat feel like?” She felt bubbling full of questions.

"Do you still have a ship, Trios? And if your a Captain, where's your crew?" It seemed strange for a self proclaimed Master of the seas to have no friends to share them with.

She turned to Aleksi and whispered “He is hilarious, how did I find him?”

“Your warnings have been noted then, and I’ve been trying to talk less you girls be the one who keep talking to which I MUST say smart things too, like how destroying culture isn’t a bad thing! Change doesn’t always mean good, but goodness be only from change lass!” Philosophised the Isur in his cold manner grunting slightly in his quickened pace, he was defiantly going to sleep well this night after this much travel. Trios wasn’t a good speaker with his ideas and conclusions but he tried his best to get them across as best he could.

Then turning his attention to the younger girl the Isur listened to her questioned the last few made him cough slightly in a quick embarrassed nature before turning back into his cold exterior.

“Well when ya stop sucking face I’ll tell ya. Just cus I don’t care doesn’t mean that much display of affection is annoying” Sighed the Isurian waiting for a few moments till the two girls broke apart from their mouthy embrace.

“The Sea is a constantly changing being! You can sail one path a million times and it be different somehow each time, You can live your life having each day different than the previous one and there’s always something worth seeing at each step of a journey. And a boat is like riding a very large horse if I can best put it in terms you’d understand.” Said Trios before coming to the question he didn’t want to answer not because he was ashamed but because of the ridicule that would most likely follow.

“As for the ship, I’m in the market for one and I know just where I could locate one that could be considered a great find” Laughed Trios heartily at his phrasing towards the subject before continuing on answering the rest of the questions. He wouldn’t reveal his plans to his guide in fear of causing his prize to be taken before he could get there.

“Me crew, well it’s just me at the moment. The one I served under was disbanded, it’s a sad thing when you age twice as slow to the people around you kid. You stand still as everything seems to change around you, like waves on rock each time…… it takes something away….BUT! That doesn’t mean life stops, I am the shipless, crewless Captain Trios! You girls are lucky to see an upcoming legend so early in his legacy hahaha!” Laughed Trios raising his fist in defiance into the air.

Averrana spots the pirate. "There he is. This blasted Sea of Grass makes looking for a crew harder than killing my mother."

She walks over to him. "Hello, I am Averrana and you are Captain Trios. Alright! Now that introductions are out of the way, I would like to tell you why I needed to find you."

She inhales deeply then exhales.

"You are in need of a crew. Are you not? I can be useful when I want to be."

Averrana uses her staff to lean on. "Maybe it' is the smell that helped me find you...but it matters not. Can I join your crew?"
"Our mother is dead. Get over it." - Averrana consoling her sister.
