Dreams as a Nuit

Postby Bakar on October 28th, 2015, 8:21 am

Was curious what people thought about it. I know they don't sleep unless under certain circumstances, usually after losing ichor. Do you think they would dream in this state, or would they just kinda be there?
As of Summer, 63, 515, Bakar has a different body! If never met you before, then this doesn't really matter to you, but people I've met should take this into account, as you're really unlikely to recognize me. :P

Dreams as a Nuit

The only think I can contribute to this topic is, "do nuit dream of undead sheep?" I'm afraid it's less of an answer and more of a reference to something unrelated.

Dreams as a Nuit

The Nuit lore describes the sleep as deep and lethargic. During deep sleep in RL there is no rapid eye movement. REM sleep is a lighter kind of sleep that would happen at the very end of the sleep cycle. The Lore doesnt state that nuit do not dream, and they do have everything needed TO dream (especially since the lore is very clear about the body needing an intact brain. It must have something to do with the nuit ritual)... I just think a nuit dream would be different from how we usually dream, especially those longer lived ones. That is because their perception of reality, their two cents on what is going on, is often skewed by their own perspective of timelessness. I think it would be something interesting to ponder.

So, I say, if you want to dream there isnt anything really stopping you.
