11 th day of Winter, 510 A.V.
After two days Fade felt that she had to start limbering up.
She had found a fairly peaceful spot and her inner thighs were not so raw anymore from riding. Her bag had chafed her shoulder as well cutting and peeling the skin.
She sighed pushing her blonde almost white hair back into a scraggly bun.
She started with a hand stand feet pointing at the sky then slowly opened her legs until she was doing a split. Her arms trembled under the weight. She came down slowly without coming out of the split and then rolled and got up feeling the scrape on her shoulder grimacing. She had tactfully worn her costume under her white dress as it tended to ride up and reveal more than necessary.
She did a front bend her head touching her knees then came up slowly only to go down into a hesitant back bend she went down till her hand touched the ground behind her ankles. It came as a relief that she hadn’t stiffened up too much. As a contortionist it would leave her at a loss.
Standing up she locked her leg around her neck and started smiling, she was rusty but not lost. She got up her clear eyes twinkling with vigour she bent doing a split and then repeated on the other side. I would take some time to do over splits though.
She warmed her back and neck up before attempting more strenuous exercises and taking out her ball. She threw it and caught it in the crook of her neck. She played with the ball making it run up and down her body, the secret was to never hold it but to treat it a fragile egg.
Her stinging legs and shoulder though hindered her and she was forced to stop, sitting down she came back to earth again aware of her surroundings.
