Winter Registry and Calendar Winter 515 AV As the watchtowers change in a brilliant flash from red to blue, the season of winter has arrived.
Anchored The Mischief returns on the 3rd, and those aboard put on a show in the Crooked Playhouse. Most of the city attends to put their uneasiness to rest, but the performance only serves to leave people glancing over their shoulders, a general feeling of anxiety and paranoia following them for several days after. Fabel is nowhere to be seen. Sanctuary! Zith from the surrounding areas begin migrating into the city. Though some altercations take place in and around The Wolf's Cave, they are for the most part well behaved. They do not, however, discuss their reasons for leaving their homes. Some would even say they're frightened. Dead End Wandering the streets has become a dangerous past time. Paths have begun to lead to nowhere or worse. Illusions in these areas are far more volatile than normal, and some would even argue malicious. Dead ends seem to be more prevalent past sunset. Watch Your Step Where one is going has become less and less relevant and what one is walking on is on the rise. Perfectly fine streets are allowing people to fall right through them to pits below, bridges are blinking out of existence as people cross, and the Garden of No Return has become particularly true to its name. Note: If you're planning on entering the garden, go prepared! You won't be able to leave until the 40th! Wanderlust In spite of everything, little lights have begun appearing at night. Some had taken to chasing after them, others purposefully choosing to avoid them. As far as anyone can tell, they aren't directly linked towards danger, but the longer one follows them, the longer one is exposed to the dangers of the streets.
Puzzling Pieces Perhaps to mirror the missing places, the illusions have begun to behave even more oddly than usual. Halves of houses, paradoxically hot and warm deserts and fjords, bridges stopping half-way, and extreme differences in continuity have begun to spring up everywhere, painting the city in more a messy hodge-podge than the past couple of cohesive glamours. Gone with the Wind Gusts have begun to blast their way through the streets, strong enough to lift people off of their feet and carry them away. People report odd wounds and bruises from these encounters. Some even suggest they have been literally carried by someone or thing. For the first time in a long time, Karash Divine can be seen wandering the streets. Whispers suggest he is looking for Menna Moresly. The Man Behind the Curtain People have been seeing odd things in reflective surfaces: shadowy figures standing just behind them, dark shadows following them down the streets. Some people swear that they can feel things breathing down their necks. A few of the more xenophobic residents make a passing joke that it may be Thuk who hasn't been seen since the season's turn. Behind You There is the distinct feeling of being followed. It seems that going into and out of buildings helps to alleviate the paranoia, and there are no reports of anyone feeling stalked in the privacy of their own homes.
Where the Wild Things Aren't Within the city, people have grown restless, unused to the confining feeling of what usually seems to be an infinite city. Fights break out every other chime, and while the streets seem to no longer go out of their way to bring harm to people, the cramped quarters are proving impetus enough. Much to everyone's surprise, many Zith have started to serve as peacekeepers, breaking up brawls (with their fair share of force). Just Around the Bend There seem to be slight jitters in the city's newly formed circular nature, cracks in the supposed reality where shouting can be heard, always too muffled to make much of. Sometimes, windows look out on scenes of chaos and destruction, but they are only glimpses. This does little improve the city's moral, and many people have taken to shutting themselves away to wait out the remainder of the season. Marco Polo Those still in the Patchwork Port - and in fact all those searching for Alvadas - can no longer find it. Any who go off in search of the city do not return for the remainder of the season.

Registry For all those who wish to play in Alvadas this winter, please post in this thread following the registry form! And, I thought Tribal had a neat little idea to share a little bit more about ourselves, so I've incorporated that into our registry this season!
