2nd of winter
Syliras was a big place, or a least it felt huge, particularly when compared to Sunberth. The City felt even larger thanks to the imposing stone walls that made up the city and the even busier streets filled with people unafraid of having their pockets picked and bodies threatened. But what made the city even larger was the fact that Hwyn knew not a single soul within those cold stone walls. Hwyn had managed to acquire a room in the travelers row but that was the extent of his interaction with anyone within the city. He had spent the first day in Syliras hiding in his room trying to come to terms with his new life alone In Syliras. he didn't know the first thing about being self sufficient, less so about abiding the law.
His empty stomach finally forcing him to take to the streets. Donning his dress and disguise Hwyn again took to the streets. Making his way to the market Hwyn began to search for a mark. As much as he hated to admit it, one of the things he was rather good at was stealing, after all it had proved useful for staying alive. After a few minutes of searching Hwyn spotted a particularly appetizing stall selling various breads some still somewhat warm by the looks of. Making his way towards the stall Whyn waited tell someone began to make a purchase as the shop keeper turned to sell the customer a muffin Hwyn made a pass on the stall. Walking fast enough to seem in a hurry but not so fast as to arose undue suspicion Hwyn Snagged the small loaf of bread furthest to the left on the display and continued walking hardly breaking his stride. Hwyn made his way to a nearby alley. Right as Hwyn turned the corner Hwyn heard a disgruntled shout in the direction of the baker. Not taking a moment to even look back Hwyn rounded the corner hoping that no one would even bother looking for the loaf of bread. As Hwyn made his way about halfway into the alley he took a moment to sit down in a doorway somewhat concealed from direct sight down the alley and begin tearing into the loaf of bread. To his delight it was still a little warm and soft, Hwyn tore into it with relish letting his guard down not expecting anyone to pursue him.
