Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

It was late when she headed down the street. The gently tug of the key around her neck guided to her home, but the streets weren't in her favor that day. She was worn out from trying to argue with the seamstress about the price of silk. It was a necessary fabric for her, but far too expensive in this city. It wasn't until she turned the next street that Neely stopped short.

In the dark purple of the night, from which she had little issue with, the street seemed to be glowing. But it was only a few ticks before she realized the street itself was not glowing, but what was in it/ Strange globs of light with lengthy strings attached to the bottom. She sat for a moment, watching one that looked like it was bouncing. Its movements were slow, but not precise, almost as if something could weigh it down. Hesitantly, the Symenestra stepped forward, curious if this was an illusion making everything slower, although when she got closer to the glob, she realized that was the illusion itself.

She lowered into a crouch so she was on level with the thing, even though all of them seems scattered across the street, not mattering. Out of the corner of her eyes she caught sight of the bright yellow of her front door, peeling paint and all, but she no longer was interested in finding the quickest way home. It seems as if her dwelling had found interest in this illusion as well.

As she watched it, it looked as if the thing was… swimming through the air, for lack of a better word. The curly string in the center swirled up around the mushroom cap of the light as it bounced, ever so slowly, away from her. She was almost afraid of touching it. Other lights that had appeared in the night hadn't been so pleasant, but this thing seemed harmless.

But she didn't have long to stare in awe at the creature before she saw another figure approach the street. She couldn't tell if he was as transfixed by the strange creatures as she was, but she stood anyway, curiously looking at the flaming red hair. Even if she hadn't the glow of the floating things to aide her vision, she would recognize the flaming mane as an Inarta anywhere.

"Hello!" She waved from across the street. Careful not to touch the thing, although she didn't really know why, she skirted around it. It took a few ticks, but it wasn't hard to maneuver between the odd glowing mushrooms, they were spread out fairly well and seemingly more interested in the windows than herself of the man over from her. She was about half way down the street, near her door, when she stopped. Glowing mushroom creatures fluffed about around her, seemingly unaware of her existance as she focused on the man in front of her.

"Funny, aren’t they?" She kept her broken common short, the thick accent of Symenos flowing with her words as she tried to engage the stranger.
