Birthplace: Syliras Appearance: Dederick doesn't have any major distinguishing features about him, settling into the crowd at an average height and weight for his age. With matte brown hair and fair skin. Dederick's posture is strong much like his demeanor. With a firm jawline that keeps his mouth tightly shut and his chin raised. Character Concept Belonging to a line of Hereditary Knights Dederick upholds the values of honor and chivalry and respects bravery and duty above all else. With a strong demeanor and an even stronger aura of determination. As a Syliran Squire Dederick is rarely seen doing anything that doesn't involve the Syliran knights. Whether it is practicing the way of the sword, working with the Knight's or studying the history of the Knighthood. Dedericks life and consciousness seems to constantly revolve around the Order. Not remembering much of what it was like to be with family, as a Page Dederick spent much of his childhood in the care of others, which taught him to have a great level of respect for others. Character History Dederick was born into the fold of a rather loving and caring family of Hereditary Syliran Knights. Whose root's in one way or another, traced themselves back to the very forming of the Order itself. Despite this, Dederick's fate wasn't sealed in joining the Order as soon as his parents deemed him fit or the action necessary, instead he would be allowed to pursue his path once he was capable of doing so. Despite Dederick's rather gentle sense of independence granted to him by his parents, Dederick still managed to gain a rather firm interest for the Syliran Knights and their order due to the amount of exposure he had with them during his early and later childhood, growing up with two parents who belonged within their ranks. At the age of ten Dederick inquired to his parents on when he could join the Order of Knights and was rather thrilled to learn he could enter the fold as a Page, much like both of his parents did before him. Fostering out to a Sponsor Knight Dederick begun to slowly learn what it was to be a Syliran Knight though only in theory. As ninety percent of his time as a page was mostly spent doing chores and running errands as well as assisting other squires with their own duties, much of Dederick's learning wouldn't begin until he was ready to take on the task of becoming a squire which would await him, days after his thirteenth birthday. As a squire, Dederick's learning both in theory and in the field escalated at an overwhelming pace which was almost impossible to keep up with for the first few months. Though after a while the day's went faster and became a lot easier. Much of Dederick's teachings as a squire began with theory, with his mind deep in mountains of old books and manuscripts. Reading anything from the geography of Syliras to the forming of the Syliran Knights and everything in between such as the history of Mizahar and the species and factions that occupied it's surface. As he got older though, teachings on how to use and care for weapons became more frequent, along with horsemanship and donning heavy plate armor. Much of Dederick's experience with armor was solely around heavy plate armor, as his Knight thought it much more beneficial to get use to the heaviest thing the Knights had rather than the lightest. Most if not all of Dedericks training and teachings were rather fast paced and full on all the way through to his later teens and to his current age of eighteen. Though fieldwork became much more consistent in the latter. Now after what has seemed like a lifetime of training and teaching, Dederick eagerly awaits his opportunity for his quest to becoming a Knight of Sylir. Language Fluent Language: Common.
