Tebridiar followed the girls gaze.
The sun was slinking ever lower, and the sky was beginning to tinge with shaades of pink and yellow. Crickets began to chirp softly in the grass, and Tebridiar looked down at her footprints, wanting to track her way back.
It would be dark soon, and the creatures lurking here at night were not ones you would like to meet.
This quiet girl didn't seem to be warming to her, but atleast she was agreeing, and that was somehting in itself. She had no trouble with the other one, who seemed keen to escape from this endless plain.
"Endrykas shouldn't be too far... less then two miles." Tebridiar replied, smiling again. "Hopefully we will make it before darkness falls..."
She hated to think what would happen if they didn't get back in time...
