She is pristine in her ethereal beauty, save for a rose-shaped brand that mars one cheek - a remnant of her subjugated past. The iridescent scales that grace her hands, shoulders, chest, and brow; the gossamer webbing of her fingers and toes; gills; all blessings of the Konti’s divine heritage. Her turquois eyes resemble the tranquil waters that give rise to all her kind. Her hair is the colour of tossed sea foam, and equally wispy. She appears delicate, even fragile, and is easily underestimated. All the grace and turbulence of the sea are visible with her graceful features. Character Concept Mo’esha was gifted by Avalis with a sense of empathic pleasure. Upon physical contact (skin to skin is strongest), Mo’esha is granted a glimpse of things that bring the person the greatest pleasure. This sense comes to her as a combination of distinct aromas, which occasionally trigger other vague contextual sensations mirroring what the other person would feel during the experience. Mo’esha utilizes her gift to create highly personalized oils and perfumes which mimic these sensations, and employs these in her massage and medical practices. Character History Mo was born a slave, in Kenash. Her gift was recognized early on, and she was fortunate to be coveted, and eventually purchased, by the Sitai family; to work in their perfumery and Den. She took to the crafts well, learning all that her masters were willing to teach her and quickly becoming a favorite among the family's higher class customers. This notoriety eventually drew the attention of the Konrath family who, being exclusively Akalak and Konti, desired the woman for breeding purposes. The Sitai, however, refused to relinquish their prize despite hefty offers well above the girl’s worth. Several meetings were held in attempt to negotiate Mo’s purchase, with each ending in increasingly humiliating failure. Despite the apparent failure, Mo was able to make the acquaintance of several of Lorenzo Konrath’s daughters, who were equally moved by their empathy for a fellow Konti and their distaste for the rival family. Unfortunately, the Sitai remained loathe to relase the girl, and the Konrath Dynasty could not afford to be caught in a scandal – despite a strong and vocal desire that the Sitai be shown equal degradation and defeat. It remains unclear who arranged the girl’s capture, but late one evening while she was tending Sitai’s Scents, she was blindfolded and spirited to the edge of town, whereupon a Suvai was thrust into her hand and she was thrust into the swamp. Whether by pure fortune or subtle planning, she was found by the Rujaro after wandering for mere hours. Beneath their understanding shadow and tutelage, she was instructed on basic use of the weapon and offered a choice – the first choice in her lifetime. If she wished, the Rujaro would train her and allow her to live among them, helping others as she had been helped and slowly chipping away at the opulent dynasties. Or, she could – without shame or judgement – pursue a life of her own choosing and would be escorted outside the borders of Kenash, where upon she would be alone, but free. She chose to leave, and has never looked back. After being escorted across the grasslands by a Drykas sympathizer, she eventually made her way to Riverfall and the promise of a new life. She placed herself at the mercy of the Council. Having volunteered for Nakivak status, she now awaits training and hopes to find employment suitable to her skills.
