Levi swayed in his seat, the last remaining modicum of willpower ordering his body to stay still to the best of his ability. His mind was foggy, but by sheer focus he aimed to keep his attention as sharp as possible. Or so he thought, whereas in reality he was just plain drunk. "Yes... I think that'sa good... ah.. idea... yes." He said this with a small lift of surprise at the patting but said nothing about it. More like he did not really care at that point.

The drunk spiritist nodded without saying anything as he listened to Saej talk on about warp and... applesauce? Was that just another name for a drug he did not know? It did not matter, what did matter was that Saej was a fun and likeable person to be around this night. His time here would not have been this enjoyable (and intoxicated) if the Inarta had not barged into his sphere of stiffness earlier. It was a good night of drinking, but little did he know that there was going to be a grand change of plans for this night.

Levi crossed his arms and leaned against the counter, still a little hesitant even as Saej pulled. Poor him, as he was already deep and trapped in the plot that his sister and Saej had now plotted for the drunk spiritist. His voice quivered as he spoke, "Ah yes we did.. but still... I don't know about dancing... ah I did ah.. say I can't... do it?"

"Oh don't be such a fun spoiler big brother, c'mon!" Naya piped up and joined Saej's efforts, "I want to see you dance with Miss Saej!" She pulled on Levi's other arm opposite of the redhead, her strength of soulmist projection too weak to really have any effect on pulling. Despite that, Levi fund himself pulled off his stool and directed towards the dance floor, his steps shaky and swaying from a mix of both alcohol and a persistent nervousness. The persistence of the ghost and redhead had borne fruit: Levi Remilian now stood awkwardly on the dance floor, Naya floating by his side.

The little ghost promptly grinned up at her brother and cheered, "Yay! We done it! Now dance!" The ghost floated around the Levi and Saej, eagerly waiting for them to begin. The other dancers on the floor looked at the new trio with mixed looks of curiosity and surprise, not that anyone in the trio would notice or care.

"Okay... okay... just a little alright? Fine!" Levi said, the nervousness slowly melting away as the music from the musicians got louder and louder. The man looked at Saej, smiling with more than a trace of worry" I'll ah... dance with you a little then we can gota see the place... thing? Something that you wanna show.... yes. "

The white cloaked man swayed to the jaunty music and raised his arms a little, just to the extent of his hands up to shoulder height. His left foot stomped quietly but irregularly to what he thought was the beat of the song playing. He was really not sure what he was supposed to do now. This was not in his array of skills even if he was drunk! He extended his hand toward Saej, smiling at her, "I think you should... ah.. take the lead... that's what they say? I have not a clue what to do now... heh..." He chuckled to himself and looked at the redhead again, "Er... help?"

OOCSorry this took so long... but now let the drunk and awkward dancing begin! :D

Try to Have a Good Time

As the girls dragged Levi out on to the dance floor, Saej looped her arm through his in an effort to steady herself. Their drunken waltz to the dance floor was a sight to behold, legs twisting this way and that in an awkward shuffle to where a throng of people were jiving. She let him go when they finally got on the dance floor, pushing their way near the middle to stand with the crowd. The people they were surrounded by were intrigued indeed and made room for the ghost not out of rudeness but probably because they didn’t want to touch her.
“Yes! The placething! Weel go affer we shake some-a the alcohol off.” The music that was playing was done by a flutist, a couple of lute players, someone on the tambourine, and a seated drummer playing a hand drum. They were playing a fast paced and upbeat song, some people in the front were line dancing but a good majority were crowded behind them clapping and just simply moving as the music took them.

Saej began moving her hips and threw her hands in the air, swerving her body like a snake making its way across the ground. The swaying came naturally, she was by far drunk enough to be tipping this way and that. Her eyes were closed in mirth and on her face was a broad grin as the music picked up and she began dancing faster too. She didn’t notice Levi’s awkward dancing as she was too pre-occupied by her own. Finally when he spoke she opened her eyes and slowed down, still swaying while he worried at her, honey rimmed eyes glazed but keeping their focus on him. A hearty laugh escaped her lips as he confessed he had no idea what he was doing and she grabbed his hands in her own and began swinging them around wildly, with no real beat, as she shook her body left and right. Her dreads were spraying everywhere, a wild display of color in ropey knots. She let go of one of his hands and spun herself around under the hand she still clasped, grinning.

“I dun know what I’m doing eiver!” She yelled over the music, smiling broadly and went to spin herself again but tripped over her own feet and feel into Levi. It wasn’t enough to make her fall completely on to the floor but she had to let go of his hand so she could steady herself with collapsing the both of them. Regaining herself she began her swaying again. His sister was floating nearby and Saej did a little shimmy with her shoulders at her, throwing her head back in a smile.
“Dance, sweetheart! Yoo only liveonce!” Saej was too drunk and in the moment to realise what she had said to the girl, at this point she was too busy dancing to register it. The redhead laughed and threw herself back on one of the other patrons, rubbing her shoulders on them and when they looked to see who it was she gave them a devilish grin. The stranger returned it and leaned into Saej as well for a tick before they both came apart and laughed.

The noise and fevered activity of the floor swept over the drink-addled of the spiritist as he tried to keep up in mood with the ecstatic dancing around him, continuing with overwhelming awkwardness pouring from his feeble attempts to dance while Saej got right into it. At least he had plenty of space around him, briefly registering in his mind that it was probably thanks to Naya. At Saej's suggestion, Levi shrugged and continued his odd form of moving to what he thought was the beat, following whatever the drums were beating out. This would shake he alcohol off? Oh that was a wonderful idea- wait... it was dancing... but it was too late now.

Finally Saej seemed to have noticed the utter state of embarrassed confusion that Levi was left in, although Naya seemed to be enjoying herself way more, swaying her arms to the music much like. She grinned and giggled at Levi when his hand was accepted by the redhead, enjoying the view of Levi's eyes widening and his mouth gaping as the pair began their drunken dance together. Their arms were swinging about with no real guiding direction or rhythm, or more specifically speaking her arms were moving his arms along erratically. His body turned and twisted mirroring Saej, the only guideline that Levi had right now. Black mussed hair shook as his head moved to the dancing as well. Finally the spiritist cracked a grin too and laughed ecstatically. Naya cheered as she floated by them, dancing a cute little ethereal step of her own.

The final semblance of sense and professional calm left in his mind screamed with a weak, dying gasp. He would never have been here if he was sober, the drunk Levi knew that very well. It must be the alcohol going to his head, but the spiritist just did not care anymore. He'll dance, who cares? Nobody around him cared, and for most certain there was not a care left in his damn mind!

"Oh that's just great! You don- wha!" Levi yelled in reply as his hand jerked up to let Saej spin only for her to tumble into him. Weaving and wavering a couple steps backwards, he managed to keep standing with Saej in his arms. Red rushed to his face, not only because of the alcohol. Careful there, we ah almost catastrophed! Levi yelled and laughed, trying to keep a bearing on wobbling legs. With a somewhat firm stand now he began dancing again, a little more freely and with a noticeable expression of enjoyment.

Naya wisped her own little dance by Saej, grinning at the redheaded woman. At Saej's offhanded and unintentional comment, something flickered in the spirit's eyes. A darkness so unlike the cheery and bright ghost girl flashed through her face. As fast as it appeared it flashed away, back to the ghost giggling and bumping her cold shoulder with the Inarta. Levi weaved over to his sister, dancing his strange swaying and twisting about. Naya burst out laughing at the sight of her brother and nudged him in the shoulder, grinning. Soon Levi went past her, brushing up with another woman on the floor. She smiled at him, he tried to smile but even when drunk, his smile twisted with slight embarrassment. Gods damn it why the Hai was he embarrassed for brushing up with a random woman while dancing?

Dancing around, Levi found himself next to Saej again, drunkenly swaying his body and arms about in a manner that surely did not belong to any proper school of dance in any city of Mizahar. Time seemed to flow on past without notice, the chimes passing by with the beat of the music and the steps of the dancers. Dimly he realized that he was still wearing his white cloak and the daggers in his bandolier, by some miracle or the bandolier's integrity the weapons had not fallen out. Beads of sweat were dripping down the side of his face. The spiritist looked at Saej and smiled, "So thisa placething! How 'bout we check it out now? I'm feeling pretty sweaty here!" The question was shouted at her over the music while he still kept swaying. Naya blinked over to the two and clapped her hands, shouting excitedly, "Yeah I wanna go to the placething too!"

Try to Have a Good Time

Dancing with a ghost was fun. Each time they bumped into each other Saej would get a gust of the tiniest cold, but not something that would make her shiver. The crowd was loving it too now, people dancing beside Naya and laughing. She was cute, for a spectral being. Such a sad thing she couldn’t grow up, surely she would have become a beautiful woman-- inside and out.

Saej continued dancing with the girl, this was the first time she got a good look at her. Perhaps there was some morose poetry to be said about being stuck as an eternal child. In the back of Saej’s mind, she was curious about the girl. What was it like being a ghost? It seemed she was enjoying herself, but who knew what she was really feeling. Saej thought she would be sad if she were dead and couldn’t eat or drink anymore. As Levi put it, soulmist was the only pleasure the girl could have anymore. This was all so curious to her. Would Naya mature mentally, but keep her little girl form? Or would she stay a child forever? All of these questions Saej thought as she watched the people dance with Naya, and danced with Naya herself, but didn’t say.

Finally, after a couple of songs, Levi was drenched in sweat. His moves were…. textbook of someone with no dancing experience and Saej tried her hardest to show him but he was lost to the world. Drunk and happy, a good place to be.

“The placething! Yes! I’ve neverhava beenbefore, but I knowwhere it is. I think today is our best day to go. Naya, you’re goingto like this methinks.”

Admittedly, she was enjoying herself so much she almost forgot about the placething she wanted to lead them to.
“C’mon, follow me.”
She and her new found friends made their way through the throng and out of the club. Unfortunately for Saej the dancing hardly sweated her alcohol out, in fact the remaining alcohol in her stomach merely seeped more into her bloodstream during their time dancing. Saej couldn’t walk more than five feet without stumbling a little and she swayed the whole way. If Levi was there beside her, she would grab his arm and lean on him-- hoping and praying he was the more sturdy one.
They had to traverse their way through Zinita, then up to the highest peak on the Shinyma. All the better to see you with, my dear. The whole way there Saej was stumbling clinging to Levi. Lucky for them there was no snow, where there’s snow there’s ice. And that would be killer. There were many other people out in the streets, everything was still full kilter. As they made their way higher up Shinyama Saej could barely walk, but at the same time things were getting more toned down. While there were still many people, a lot were pensive and quiet in prayer. Finally, after almost eating dirt multiple times, the made it to the archway of Leth’s Temple.

“Do…. you know.. where we are?” Saej was tired, her earlier bounciness had worn off during the walk and she was beginning to feel sick.

Try to Have a Good Time

Levi wiped the sweat off his brow and nodded to Saej. The dancing had exhausted him a fair amount, more than he had expected. Yet his step was still light if a little more than wobbly. Naya floated up to eye level with the Inarta and smiled, "Yay! Let's go to the placething! Onward!" The spirit giggled and Levi chuckled along with her. This was proving to be a fun night, now to the next event! The ghost and spiritist came out of the establishment with their newly discovered guide and friend. Levi leaned and stretched a little, feeling pumped up from the haphazard excuse of dancing he had performed earlier.

In the bleary corners of his mind, Levi realized that this trek was to be a treacherous one for the two very drunk people that they had become. Step by step, that's all he had to do. One slow step, controlling that nauseating waver that the alcohol was causing. Another step, keep control. He may be under the influence, but oddly enough the sweat and exertion of dancing had brought back a strange sense of limited clarity to his mind. Barely a few feet in and the spiritist found Saej hanging on to his arm, having been fully taken in by the wibble wobbling influence. Levi stumbled a little, barely keeping his balance as he too swayed a fair amount. Willpower was being clawed out of the crevices of his psyche to keep a firm step and wrapped his arm around her side to support both himself and now Saej. He grit his teeth and stared at the ground, eyes firmly on his feet as they made each and every single laborious step forward. He did not care that there was a woman literally clinging to him right now, something that would have normally flustered Levi was swept aside due to the more pressing matter of simply walking straight. The result was more like a curvy and jagged walk, but by some miracle on Saej's part leading the pair, they seemed to be getting somewhere.

Levi floated around the drunken pair that made their way through Shinyama's streets, keeping an eye on the two and their surroundings, blinking over to guide them and avoid any collisions. All the while the spirit giggled and laughed at the two, at Saej's stumbling step and Levi's utmost concentration of focus on his feet and step. The streets still bustled with people, the trio carving their way with wobbling path through the crowds of similarly merry Lhavitians. Levi briefly glanced up from his vigilant checking of his step and swore that he saw a beautiful woman with iridescent silver skin and majestic violet horns. He blinked blearily for a moment before looking down at his feet again. Must be the alcohol... or was it? That did not matter, what mattered was not getting a firsthand taste of the street

Levi was unsure how long it took them to walk, but here they were now in the entrance to the Temple of the Moon. He tore his gaze away from his feet to look up at the magnificent and lunarian architecture glowing with Leth's light that loomed over him now. He would have appreciated this a lot more if he was not inebriated. "I think... it's the placething... right? Some kind of a building no no... ah! Temple! Yes a temple of a kind that's really busy for a temple at night.. yes?" Levi spluttered the words out, interspersed with heavy breaths. He glanced at Saej and saw that she was as puttered out as he was. The walk had taken far more out of them than a walk ever should to two young people like themselves.

"It's the Temple of the Moon! I heard about this place!" Naya said, the only unaffected individual looking about the place in wonder. "C'mon! Let's go in!" The ghost grinned at her two companions and glided forward. Levi sighed in exhaustion and looked at Saej, "We'ra here ah might as wella check it out." He mustered his will once again and stepped forward with Saej by his side down the arched hall towards what he thought to be the central room. The trio came into a large and domed area from which an opening allowed Leth's light to fall upon the shimmering pool of water in the middle of the Temple. Naya's eyes widened as she saw the wondrous yet tranquil sight. There were still many people here, most in prayer or gazing into the pool as though they could see some kind of vision. Robed people wandered and checked around the room vigilantly, priestesses of Leth Levi could conjecture with his dimmed mind. His stumbling steps lead him closer and closer to the pool, which for some reason drew his attention. The mystical shimmering shine of it as moonlight hit the crystalline clear surface of its tranquil waters... he wanted to get a closer look.
