Spring 39 516
Waking with the day Hwyn found himself in turmoil, the world around him was changing and him with it. He had met many interesting people in the days prior and his last run in with one of the Syliran squires had left him thinking. Was his life worth living the way he was living it? Hwyn looked at the clothes he had acquired in Syliras all them suited to the female form, he liked his clothing he liked the way he looked when he wore clothing that brought him compliments. But, he needed more, he needed to become something worthwhile to himself and to others. Pulling on his stockings and red tunic Hwyn examined himself in a mirror. His already mildly feminine appearance accentuated by the clothing certainly left little doubt to the truth. But by that same token it also hurt his chances when he needed to be honest with others about his identity. with that in mind He set out for the markets.
Passing by the stalls he regularly patronized Hwyn went to a stall not surrounded by women, but by men. The Stall held within it all manners of breeches, tunics, belts and skins. Looking from one article to the next Hwyn quickly concluded that these sorts of clothing were much cruder than those he was accustomed to donning, but perhaps that was the point. So what did he want to buy then?
Picking out a pair of dark green breeches made of ramie(2Gm 1Sm), a brown woolen tunic(2Gm 3Sm), a leather belt (4sm) and a pair of Leather boots (1Gm) Hwyn payed the 5 gold miza and 7 Silver miza, and took off back towards his apartment. Upon getting home to the apartment Hwyn stripped down to his undergarments and stared at his reflection in his small mirror.
"Today, I start the path towards being, me?"
With that Hwyn pulled the earthy colored tunic over his head, pulled on the dark green fibrous breeches followed by the leather boots. Then Buckling the belt Hwyn looked at his new appearance. He was still soft looking and slim, but at least now he had moved from being feminine to androgynous, a step in the right direction. Then he tied his hair back and set out for the training grounds. A new jaunt in his step and confidence in his walk. It's been said that the clothes make the man, Hwyn wondered how true that was.
