Jasmine watched the grass closely trying to spot any strange movement. Everything seemed normal and calm. A strange nervousness settled in the girl's stomach as she continued to ride with Naiya. Something began to feel more and more off to her. What if something happened that injured or killed one of them? The blonde was not worried about herself as much as she was the red head. Said woman had a child on the way soon. Pulling Chaser to a halt, blue eyes scanned the world around them. It was quiet too quiet. Whistling she got the others attention motioning for her to slow. The stallion slowly walked forward to stand beside her horse as well.
“Some thing isn't right. Why is it so quiet?” Jasmine whispered looking at the other woman.
They needed to either turn or figure out how to proceed. Riding blindly through the grass was not doing them any good. Of course neither was the feeling of being hunted. The female Drykas did not care for the uneasiness in the pit of her stomach. The tracks were still fresh but that didn't mean anything about their findings. Their kill could be long gone before they even arrived and neither of them would know. Pulling Chaser close to the red head, the blond looked out over the grass as her heart hammered through her chest.
