Spring 14
With the end of winter, the cold started moving off to make room for the heat. Although the cold decided to stay for a few more days. Garland decided to warm himself up with a bit of training.
The stout squire headed off towards the Training Grounds, careful not to slip on the ground, the snow had turned into slush, though the squires simply cleaned as much of the slush to one side of the grounds so that they can train unhindered.
As Garland made it to the grounds, he surveyed the area, hoping to note anyone who would want to maybe spar with him. As he looked around the grounds, everyone seemed busy with their own spars or patrons, those that didn't look like they were training, didn't really interest him.
His skill with the blade is quite impressive for his age and for the time he's been a squire, his instincts during a fight are fast, and his experience on the field had made him a cut above the regular squires.
Though he may not show it, he is arrogant and headstrong, he is brash and undisciplined and quite frankly disrespectful to those that failed to earn Garland's respect.
It seemed the grounds were busy as always and Garland had no partner to train with. Maybe he could find a few of the pages and teach them how to hold a blade in case they ever need it. Though he might just get an earful from a knight for trying to teach a young child how to stab people.
