Well a heads up for anyone in on one of the personal challenges -- I'd like to start an open thread for the snowball fight! I'm thinking shortly after the snow in where there is plenty of snow drifts to hide behind and of course plenty of ammo~!

After being holed up for days on end it sounds like a wonderful day out in the snow!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to pop in and talk about the Coolwater Hunt event on the 13th. I have seen a lot of expressed interest and want to see how many and which of you are interested. I want to start it as soon as possible, but can't yet because I am participating in another Calendar Event thread (the snowstorm from the 51st-55th) and cannot start another Event until that thread is well underway with active participation and plot moving.

So far I know that I, Junco Frostfawn am interested. Junco will be participating as a member of the hunters. He will use his bow and his dog to aid him in bringing down sea/land beasts to bring back to the city.

Next Micah Frostfawn is interested as we have been talking about it via PM for days now. She will also be participating as a hunter, also using a bow and a dog to aid her in killing the meat. Although she also has some Tundra Survival that may help as well. (Micah: I believe I am correct with this information let me know if I assumed your role incorrectly.)

Then Epifanio Snowsong has expressed an interest via his post in this thread previously. He will act as an entertainer for the group, although is willing to provide aid with his bow as well, if needed.

Finally Alekxandra Winterflame expressed an interest via this thread as well. She is a Maned Wolf Kelvic who has some skill in hunting and tracking as well as Tundra Survival. (Alek let me know if there is a specific role you are aiming to play during this hunt.)

So that only leaves Argos Frostfawn and Lucy Snowsong to join if they want (as well as any other PCs who may join us in Avanthal before the thread goes up.)

Also if anyone wants something specific to happen within this hunt, development of PC relationships, certain skill uses, etc. let me know. As soon as my other thread with Lucy and Epifanio get enough underway I will seek Prophets approval and start this thing!

You guys can go without Lucy in this hunt. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't interest her so much, she would be more curious about the story though.
And I know I might be slow at times and I don't wanna hold up anyone.

So guys I have stumbled across a piece of key information about our Goddess Morwen. Well, I cant take any of the credit actually, it was Isaac Iceglaze who asked the question and received this answer directly from Gossamer. I'm just posting it here so everyone knows because I don't recall reading it in the lore anywhere.

Marcus Kelvic was Morwen's Grandson... Yshul's Son. That makes him an Alvina in his own right. He was a brilliant scientist that made Kelvic Polar Bears for his Grandmother's City as a gift. They ensured the Vantha People protection and a mobile standing army that did not get too bogged down by snow, ice, and general frigid temperatures.

Anyway that is the secret to Morwens true breeding of the Dire Polar Bear Kelvics that run around Icewatch. Enjoy.

Greetings everyone! I have been working on a job thread. This thread is open to those who would like to shadow the job as per one of the seasonal challenges. Shadowing a bard is a unique experience unlike any other. Hey all, your resident Icebear reporting in

I met a lot of you in chat, and from all the posts I've been reading so far, I'm so looking forward to RPing with everyone! If one of you needs to get somewhere quickly in the snow and can't fly, I'm your guy.

Argos and Alek, I'm sure we'll have a blast in the storm together --- ghostbusting, anyone?
