Revenge was such an interesting concept to think on, especially when the one thinking upon it has had a few hundred years of contemplation. Eryn wanted so badly to take revenge on the one who had ended her life so soon, sooner then she felt she deserved. No she hadn't exactly had much of a future ahead of her, but her life had been hers, it hadn't been up to another to end her miserable existence and even if that had been their intention, they had still failed because her existence continued still and it was just as miserable as before. Someday she would have answers, she just knew it, but for now she would just think up various ways of torture and pain for the one that she sought, just so that she would have options when she found him or her.
For now, the little ghost moved through the Syliran wilderness, enjoying the fact that she neither needed food nor water nor did she have to fear for her safety against the savage wild. Of course if she sought to interact with the living, she'd be taking a risk on her own personal safety, but as long as she remained as she was, incorporeal, she would be safe and out of the way. She could walk right through any vicious animal without fear of them. Animals had a sharper sense of ghosts but normally they just ran in fear, since it wasn't easy going against something one couldn't see. The cool autumn air did nothing to the little ghost girl because she felt nothing and besides, she was cold enough as it was. Her stringy black hair dangled in her face as she moved, her feet hovering just over the leaf covered ground, her little pathetic form going through trees and rocks like they weren't even there.
She was bored...
It wasn't hard for a ghost to be bored, especially in an area where there weren't too many humans around. Eryn wasn't a vicious little girl, but she was a prankster and gods how she loved to terrify the living. She could possess the living and she did on occasion, normally when she couldn't find anything better to do but normally the wilderness only played host to animals or foolish adventurers.
Eryn feared one thing of course, those with the ability to help or hurt ghosts such as herself. She had never really hurt anyone...ok maybe a few people but they had been asking for it! But really, Eryn wasn't a troublesome ghost and so she felt she should be left alone. She'd be gone after she found what she was looking for and while she could go to a medium for help, she felt that her string of bad luck would come into play and she'd be trapped somehow or something bad would befall her.
Ignoring her worries of 'those' sorts of people, she pushed her mind to more fun things, like the thoughts of the God on her mind. Ionu, the trickster God. She loved the thought of a god that loved to trick others, oh how it would be to meet him. She didn't think it possible of course, after all, she was a measley little ghost and he was a great amazing god. The god that might take interest in her would be Uldr, though she had no interest in him. He was the God her mother had served and was the technical reason why she was missing two fingers. Eryn wanted nothing to do with him no matter how she had been involved in rituals by her mother.
