The day following their initial encounter was a cocktail of passion, pain and pleasure all at the same time. The very first day the pair encountered one another they enjoyed one another sexually, and shared several experiences together. Kaie had gotten to see the fury of an enraged territorial Lion first hand when Skyard struck down an Akalak at the Tavern. Skyard gained a bond-mate, a lover and a best friend all at the same time. She was later carried off to his residence, and they shared a bed for the night following the treatment of his wounds. However, due to the aid of a healer he miraculously recovered, and at his side laid Kaie. Skyard remained in a deep state of slumber; as Lions were known to be primarily nocturnal predators who slept through the entirety of the day. Skyard went to sleep more happy than he had ever been; he slept peacefully. For the first time in multiple years he found someone that he trusted. Kaie was that person, and he gave her everything he had to offer his heart, his soul, and even his life.
Skyard did not reside in the most luxurious setting, and his home was rather simplistic with a single large bed in the center of a lengthy room. The remainder of the home had but a single luxurious couch, a table and several chairs. The walls of his home had all been painted a somewhat darkened color, and although his home was not the most spectacular it certainly did have an incredibly inviting feel. The beautiful floor beneath their feet was composed of a fine wood. The day remained in its adolescent state, and the sound of distant birds as they chirped could be heard. However, they were ignored and practically all sound fell upon the deaf ears of the Lion. He learned to shut out his surroundings quite some time ago whilst he slept. The Kelvic had a dream; a beautiful one and he had not noticed that the dream was not reality.
Skyard visualized himself in a confided space with Kaie; yet to his surprise water began to fill the small and incredibly dark vicinity. The figure he saw could not be identified to the naked eye as Kaie, but he knew it was her it had to be; after all he felt her presence and knew it to be hers. Skyard shivered as his breaths became heavy, deep, and cold. Mist exited his lips each and every time he exhaled, and the cold air rolled off of his tongue as he spoke to her. Inaudible and indistinct were their exchanges of words back and forth; the conversation was silent although the sound of the water as it filled the vicinity had not been. Skyard never experienced a sensation like this one before, and the air around him was both cold and thick. He could hardly breathe, and although the breathing patterns in the dream had no effect on his physical body he could not escape.
The water finally reached his knees, and the pair within the room did not panic in the least bit. In the dream he found that he could not control a single one of his limbs. The only function of his body that he could control was breathing. However, even the simple act of breathing was innate and did not have to be forcefully done. Therefore he knew that he had absolutely no control of the situation that occurred around him and accepted it. He accepted the fact that he would drown, and just as he thought the situation could not possibly become any worse the room around them became even smaller. So small that the pair themselves could hardly fit, and as a result the water rose to unbelievable heights.
Finally the water filled the entirety of the space that the two rested in. The woman across from him that he thought to be Kaie panicked, and all Skyard could do was sit and watch in horror. He saw her kick, and could hear her almost inaudible screams against the walls of the room. Finally the entirety of the room around the pair collapsed, and the Woman disappeared. Skyard although in a state of “sleep” could hear everything around him. He attempted to drown out his surroundings again, but failed and after several more ticks he managed to come to rest again. With the slight movement of his arm he felt Kaie still at his side. He was comfortable, happy and at peace as he rested.
