Appearance: Her hair is light brown, bleached ombre by the sun. It's long, falling past her breasts and to the middle of her back. It rolls down in waves brought about by the constant tousling of wind and the starch related powers of salt water. It's thick and voluminous, barely ever brushed and always in a mess. She only ever finger combs it and manually pulls the knots out. Her eyebrows are dark, as dark as her roots, making it plain to see her natural color of hair is a deep chocolate brown. Her eyes are a light cornflower blue. The often glisten with laughter and determination. Nothing in these eyes would make someone think she's stupid and in fact do the opposite, they give off an air of superiority and intelligence. Her nose is small, round, and pretty. A beautiful centerpiece to her delicate features. Her lips are large but not overly so. They have a pouty quality to them and a softness that screams kissable. She stands at 5'10" and weighs nearly 165lbs. Linie is a slight woman to behold and while her bosom has little to offer her rump is of fair proportions. Her skin is tanned a golden brown by the sun, making it obvious she spends a good deal of time outside. Her clothing style is typical of Svefra boasting many colors and a fair amount of layering and ruffle. She favors the color green. Her feet are small and usually barefoot.
Character Concept
Linie is known for her creativity. She always has a unique answer to life's many problems. She's opinionated and quick witted to anyone who tries to take advantage of her hospitality. This woman has no fear of doing things for others and has a gentle light-heartedness to her, even while she radiates her trademark strength. While she has a very giving side she has a stubbornness to some degree, if she doesn't want to do something she simply won't and has a selective hearing when need be. That being said she delights in helping others and finds it as a strength, not a weakness, to give all she can to people in need. A real "shirt off my back" kind of gal. She is easily recognised as respectable and can be stone hard when it comes to her morals. She will simply refuse to do something outside of her personal boundaries. It's not uncommon for her to tell someone no. She can be careless and impulsive, leading her to be reckless. Linie is intelligent, not naive at all but due to her recklessness can tend to make snap judgements that she thinks are correct, and with her imaginative side thrown in the mix, these judgements can often lead her into trouble. Whether it be miscalculating someone's ability to take a joke or thinking "hey, I could probably jump over that" sometimes she just doesn't get things right. She's independent. While she's giving and forgiving she doesn't rely on others for strength. In fact she enjoys her alone time as she can find being around people taxing. Messy is another good word to describe her. She find little comfort in order and neatness and her things can be found in piles all around her quarters, to which she knows exactly what is where.
Character History
The Moonreefs' for a long time were fierce pirates. Known throughout the many pods as worthy adversaries and known to merchants as their bane. They were ruthless, but not cutthroats, preferring to overwhelm the ships with numbers, as back in the day their pod had nearly sixty people, and take what they wanted with as little casualties as possible. "Kill all the merchants and there will be no one left to take from!" Eventually though, as time passed, they began focusing more on exploration. It is said once when they were on too rough of seas to travel they stopped on one of the many islands dotting the Suvan. There they found treasure and after that they began searching each island in turn to see if they would strike gold as well. Not only was the gold valuable but they enjoyed the hunt. Their dirty dealings with piracy became less and less and eventually only out of necessity, in order to barter with the likes of Alvadas and Syliras, to further their exploration and stock up on supplies. Often times the Moonreef's will hoard their treasure on islands, having quite the wealth stocked up over the years.
Many years after, Linie was born; daughter to the Lia. As she grew she proved to be quick with wit and a skilled fisherman. She became acquainted with the double flute and consumed by the stars. To her, the stars represented the vastness of the world and reflected her own soul. They could tell you where you were and guide you to where you needed to go, in a practical sense and a spiritual sense. Often as a girl, she and her friend Buckeye would lay on the deck and name constellations together. She and Buckeye were raised together, though he was a few years older than her. Companions from the start. While for a long time Linie refuted his advances, claiming she only loved him like a brother, finally when they were sixteen they became lovers. This served to not only strengthen their bond but made a whole new dynamic to their relationship. He was a jealous lover often taking other women just to spite her when she would take another man. It had little affect on her though, she would merely ignore him when he started to act up, though this was tiresome. "You know it's not our customs to take one man, I see no reason for your ire." Even so, they love each other and are fiercely loyal to one another, even if this doesn't extend to the bedroom. More than once they have been at each others throats one chime then having each others back the next.
Still, her story is more than just a man. As a teen she spent time in Alvadas learning "the proper way to speak" and figuring out what she wanted to do with her life. After a spat with her mother while they were docked at Alvadas' port she fled into the city for some seasons, making friends and getting lost in the ever changing streets, until her pod finally returned seasons later. She was welcomed back with open arms, forgiven, and she had a renewed sense of self. It occurred to her during her time spent in the city that there was more to life outside of the pod, that the cities they docked at every so often had a life to them; a flavor that she was ever eager to taste. After this occurrence she would often spend her time in the cities they would dock at, exploring the city like the tourist she so honestly was. Her stints on land gave her a zeal that no one could deny and she knew in her heart her place was not only on the sea, but partially on land too. Still, she can't be parted from the Suvan for long; it always brings her back.
Now she finds herself in Syka, a brand new settlement perched on her beautiful ocean. It has the exact weather she loves and she can live right on her boat for free. Buckeye has come with her and together they're going to unlock the secrets of this new city. As a humble fisherman she intends to make a name for herself, prove her reliability, and eventually become a well known face. Perhaps destiny and fate have something in store for this new denizen to the city of Syka.

Linie's long time lover and friend. He has a great disposition, if a bit crass. Thought they have both taken many lovers, they always come back to each other. They have a bond of love and respect. He has often told Linie to break off and be the Lia of her own pod, but Linie has no urge to do so. Although he's much less of a land-lubber than Linie, he followed her to Syka on the premise of adventure. Something new and ripe for the taking. He has his roots more in piracy than others, often getting itchy palms when they pass a ship. Being quite the stoic fellow, he never talks more than he has to. Although he's a great guy people are often intimidated by his size, 6'4" and 250lbs, when in actuality he doesn't usually have a bad word to say about anyone. Idealistic and simple. His motto on life is you receive what you put out into the world, so he generally tries to be fair-- even if he seems a little gruff.
