Jade sighed gently as she put the last of her cleaning supplies away. Work had ran much longer than she thought it would have. Dusting off her hands with blonde walked out of the room closing the door behind her. With a smile the woman walked over to the office and said good night to her boss. Grabbing her bag the girl knelt down and slipped her dagger into her boot. Walking past Diria the woman rubbed her nose before hitting the door to the stables. Looking out out at the fog, Jade did not like the feeling it caused her on the inside. Taking a deep breath, she walked out of the building staying close to the lights. Though as thick as the fog was the lamps did little to help the uneasiness. Turning her head slowly, the woman came to a stop realizing she had become lost in the fog.
“Ah petch,” Jade stated with a groan.
A noise behind her caused the woman to jump some and look behind her into the darkness. Squinting she did not see anything, but that did not mean it was no there. Walking forward the blonde began to speed up hearing more noises behind her. Normally she was very “brave” as some would call it; others called her “foolish” to stand up to those bigger than her. The sound of feet moving faster behind her caused Jade to pick up her pace into a jog. Throwing her head side to side the blonde tried to see anything clearly through the fog. A gasp ripped through the woman's body when she turned a corner and hit a dead end.
“Now then, lass. Come with a quietly,” a low sounding growl sounded behind her.
Jumping and turning the woman was met by two men. One of a large burly size that wore a smug grin on his face, and a smaller more creepy looking man that laughed under his breath looking over the girl. Taking a deep breath, Jade looked up at the men putting on her most serious face that she could. Stepping forward the girl squared her shoulders looking up at the men with a determined face.
“Never, step aside and let me leave or I will scream till the knights arrive,” Jade countered with a glare.
The men both burst in a fit of laughter almost falling to the ground. With a growl the woman saw her chance and dodged between them. Though her attempt at escape was futile it appeared. The big burly scoundrel grabbed her arm in a tight grip. Wincing the woman turned to look at him leaning away towards the only escape possible from this dead end.
“Fine you asked for it,” Jade growled and took a deep breathing before starting to scream as loudly as possible for help.
