Character ConceptPersonality: Lithra is a kind soul with a good heart however she often hides her emotions allowing them to only flow through her dance. Since the death of her parents when she was younger she often has trouble communicating with the other family she has around. She keeps to herself and will often spend a good amount of time in the Temple of Everwinter. When she is not worshiping she is often found dancing around the park and looking for work in the various places that crowd the beautiful Avanthal. She loves to spend time at the library as well reading as much information as she can on her people and history.
Likes: Dancing, reading, wondering around.
Dislikes: Being the center of attention when she is not dancing. People who seem ignorant about the Vantha's religion.
Character HistoryLithra was born on the water of Storm Bay; on a very rare clear night sky, on her parents boat as they were heading to Wind Reach to meet up with a local Avora, that had become a close friend. Her mother was only a few weeks pregnant when they set off, of course they didn't know it at the time. More then half way to the land of Wind Reach they decided not to head back to Avanthal. Arriving in Wind Reach they were offered a place to stay in one of the Avora's homes. While in Wind Reach, Lithra was taught basic Nari words and would often help her father and mother with their trading, or would help their Avora friend and his child with his glass work. She became friends with said Avora's daughter Yantavi who was being trained to follow in her fathers footsteps making glass beads as well as her mothers trade making clothing for her people. When Yantavi who was older then Lithra by a year went to get her first piercing Lithra who was now a year old wanted one as well. Her parents decided that a single set of piercings on her ears was no harm and allowed for it. It was soon after this that Lithra and her family left Wind Reach and headed back for the beloved city of Avanthal. They didn't arrive back in their beloved city until Lithra was two years old, arriving back just in time for the Spring Celebrations welcoming back their beloved Goddess Morwen, but it was not all good news. On the hard journey home Lithra's mother has passed into the skies. In her fathers grief he took his wife straight to the cemetery to bury her ignoring the celebrations. Lithra was taken home by her Uncle. On their way home they stopped to see the parade watching Morwen walking through back to her Castle. Her uncle picked her up and put her on his shoulders. Morwen who was riding one of her Polar Bears was waving and smiling to her people when she noticed the small girl on the shoulder of her Uncle. She looked at her for a moment before she stopped and climbed off her Bear walking over the pair. Her uncle took her off his shoulders and bowed as the Goddess approached. She nodded her head at him before looking at the small child who looked at her in Wonder. She smiled softly and bent down to reach the childs eye level. Morwen took the child hand and said softly “I understand the sorrow but you are a brave girl to smile under the circumstances.” she said before standing and walking away. Lithra watched the beautiful lady walk away before she felt a cold like sensation on her inner wrist and looked down to see she had been gifted a Gnosis Mark of the Vantha Goddess. Life went on for several years before another tragedy struck the young lady. Her father left her in the care of her Uncle who had never married and went on one of his usual trading trips and never returned. She never heard what happened to her fathers ship and just assumed he was lost in Storm Bay like others before him. She was 12 then, her uncle feeling she needed a more stable home as he traveled as much as his brother, asked for Lithra's Grandmother Nivane Snowsong to take the child in and teach her the ways of the her mothers Hold in hopes it would provide a better life for her. Lithra kept her family holds last name but was completely amerced in the Snowsong family and was put through training on dancing and she fell in love with the Violin, which she was then taught to play and eventually make. She is still working on her violin skills focusing more on her love for dancing. She is now 18 and taking her spin on life.

Heirloom: An outfit that was gifted to her mother upon the birth of Lithra from an Inarta Avora who they had become close with. This outfit is one which Lithra puts on and wears during formal events and celebrations when she is preforming. The outfit includes a Vanti that has been embellished with small glass blown beads and gold threads. A Bryda that its self is very ceremonial consisting of a dark fabric over the private areas then loose flowing gauze fabric over the rest. The outfit also came with a pair of flat sandals, a small bag of glass blown beads for her hair and a black and gold silk scarf that Lithra uses to add motion to her dances.
HousingLocation: Snowsong Hold in her own Arvinta
House: 1 basic 20x20 Arvinta in a Hold with a hearth, bunk, chest, chair, and small table.
Each Arvinta consists of a communal meeting or sitting room. Then there are private rooms for couples, and a common sleeping/living room for all the children. Visitors are often given a private room, while a couple will move in with the children to make extra room. Some of the larger, more expansive Holds with wealthier families have spare rooms in their Arvinta or special guest quarters when people move from place to place visiting. Holds often have common areas and craft cottages in buildings attached and are always made of solid stone. External buildings are often built from ice and warmed from within by special braziers that conduct heat into the room but do not melt the thick ice walls. A Hold may contain multiple Arvintas and might hold upwards of a couple hundred people.
