[Ashka Windrunner]

Pavilion Name: Windrunner Clan: Amethyst Clan Approx size: 14 adults + youngsters Ankal : Lohtar Windrunner Specialty: horse breeding, training and trading, Eyktolian desertbred mainly. Accepts PC Members?: Yes if it makes sense into the family's history. Current PC Members: Ashka History: The Pavilion was created when Lohtar and Siyah were expecting their first child. They was no more space in his parent's pavilion, so they move into their own, much smaller one. They have been extending the place over the years, having more children and those children having an offspring of their own. It is now four generations of Windrunner living under the same roof, and even though the family finds strength in number, there are many mouths to feed and always work to do. Everyone brings their own skill to the group and, collectively, they tend to the family's herd of horses. (All of the following are Drykas, born in Endrykas and part of the Windrunner Pavilion of the Amethyst Clan.) Lohar Windrunner : Date of Birth: 48th of Fall 452, (64) Title/Job: Ankal of the Windrunner Pavilion. Ashka's grandfather, married to Siyah. Skills: webbing 65 horsemanship 50 riding 45 leadership 45, weapon : spear 45 Description: Lohar moved to his own Pavilion when him and his wife Siyah were expecting their first child. He was the first of his family of horse breeders to work with Eyktolian desertbred and developed trade with different cities along the Great Run. He is a honest, dedicated man who worked very hard to ensure his family has everything they need. A long life of rough work has weaken his body and he now walks with difficulty. Siyah Windrunner : Date of Birth: 32nd Summer 452 (64) Title/Job: Ashka's grandmother, married to Lohar. Skills: Land Navigation 45, driving 48, herbalism 40, horsemanship 45 hunting 35 weapon : shortbow 30 riding 30 Description: Born from the Velvetmane Pavilion, she married Lohar at eighteen years old and together they worked to create the herd that is theirs now. She is the warmer half of her husband, caring and gentle. Her small constitution is surprisingly robust, and no one has ever heard her complain about a heavy work load. Iris Windrunner : Date of Birth: 58th of Summer 474 Title/Job: Mother of Ashka, Reyn and Caith. Skills: horsemanship 35, riding 35, cooking 30 herbalism 20 foraging 30 History: Married for the first time at sixteen, and now widowed twice, the harsh times she has been through have made her grown quieter and stronger than she used to be. She is also much more religious and believes every challenge one's is faced with, no matter how difficult, is a step on the path towards becoming who the gods want you to be. Reyn Windrunner : Date of Birth: 2nd of Winter 491 Title/Job: Step brother of Ashka, twin of Caith. Married to Idathi and father of Jorin and Sery. Skills : Riding 30 horsemanship 30 Tanning 20 Hunting 20 Fishing 10 leadership 10 History : The elder of Iris' three children, he grew up without his natural father but took a lot of inspiration from his uncle and also grandfather. He is a determined young man, and tends to naturally take the lead in a group. He holds the Elders and the Watch in high esteem and listen carefully to their advices. He favours reflection over confrontation and, since his daughter was born, spends more time taking care of his children than out in the wild. Idathi Windrunner : Date of birth : 14th of Spring 492 Title/Job : Wife of Reyn. Mother of Jorin and Sery. Skills : Riding 30 hunting 30 flint knapping 30 horsemanship 15 wilderness survival 20 Description : Born Longshadow of the Emerald Clan, she is a surviver, fit for the harshness of the Sea of Grass. Both her childbirths have been very long and complicated, but she made it through. Now she looks out for her children with a ferocious maternal instinct, scouting the dangerous wilderness to make sure they are not deprived of anything. She is very strong willed, focusing on what her family needs and doing everything to get it. Jorin Windrunner : Date of Birth : 37th of Fall 512 Title/Job : First son of Reyn and Idathi. Ashka's nephew. Description : He is a bright and joyful little boy, putting smiles on others' faces wherever he goes. He also quite curious and likes to grab, touch, taste things around him. Very often he will try to help adults in their daily chores by himself, imitating them. Sery Windrunner : Date of Birth : 77th of Spring 515 Title/Job : Daughter of Reyn and Idathi. Ashka's niece. Description : Her coming into the world was a very laborious task for her mother. She is of a rather small build, looking younger than she is. She is not very strong on her legs but loves to speak, especially babbling about horses. Caith Windrunner : Date of Birth : 2nd of Winter 491 Title/Job : Step brother of Ashka, twin of Reyn. Married to Haliwe and father of Drathan. Skills : Riding 30, Unarmed combat 30, shortbow 25 horsemanship 25 Wilderness survival 20 Hunting 20 Description : Born shortly after his twin, Caith is of the rebelling type. He has a history of going against authority from a young age, especially challlenging his brother. He likes physical contact and trained in unarmed combat, making him the most athletic person in the family. He is a proud father and good hunter. Haliwe Windrunner : Date of Birth : 89th of Winter 493 Title/Job : Wife of Caith, mother of Drathan Skills : Riding 30 cooking 30 horsemanship 30 leatherwork 30 Trapping 20 Description : Haliwe, born Greysteed, joined the Pavilion at age twenty. She is a kind, helpful and caring woman. She grew up in a family of horse breeders as well and is very comfortable taking care of the animals. Drathan Windrunner : Date of Birth : 16th of Summer 513 Title/Job : Son of Caith and Haliwe. Nephew of Ashka. Description : Drathan is an audacious child, and resembles his father much. He is hot-headed, almost reckless, with a lot of energy. He enjoys the outdoors and challenging his elders. Toril Windrunner : Date of Birth : 65th of Fall 470 Title/Job : Son and heir of Lohar and Siyah. Uncle of Ashka. Married to Suwan, father of Dalor, Laena and Kelis. Skills : horsemanship 60, riding 45, webbing 40, hunting 35 fishing 30, shortbow 30, leatherwork 20 Description : First born of the Ankal, Toril is therefore the heir of the Pavilion. He has been taught about his duties as an Ankal since young age and is very serious about it. He is also the person in charge of the family trade, and has the last word in all the decisions concerning the herd. He is a straight man, and caring for all living things. Suwan Windrunner : Date of Birth : 41st Spring 472 Title/job : Wife of Toril, mother of Dalor, Laena and Kelis. Skills : Negotiation 55 horsemanship 40 riding 30 driving 30 organization 20 papermaking 20 Description : Suwan is born of the Skyweaver Pavilion, in the Ruby Clan. She learned various crafting skills at a young age but found herself much more talented and interested in the trading art. Her husband took her into the Windrunner Pavilion at age seventeen, and they are now gifted with three children. She is very skilled in making deals and have a mind for business. Dalor Windrunner : Date of Birth : 15th of Spring, 491 Title/job : Ashka's oldest cousin. Son of Toril and Suwan. Married to Melen, father to Sorak. Skills :hunting 30 riding 30 horsemanship 25 shortbow 20 trapping 15 Description : Dalor looks younger than he is, and sometimes behaves so as well. He does not have the maturity his father had at his age, and the two are frequently in conflict. But he has a good heart and would never do anything that would cause harm to the Pavilion. Melen Windrunner : Date of Birth : 30th Summer, 492 Title/job : Wife to Dalor, mother to Sorak Skills : Food preservation 30 Weapon : Shortbow 25 bowing/fletching 25 hunting 15 Description : Daughter of the small Ironcliff Pavilion of the Diamond Clan, she is the embodiment of commitment to one's duties. Coming from a modest family she learned the value of hard work and self-discipline to prove her worth. She is obedient to the Ankal and his heir and put the Pavilion's well-being before hers. Sorak Windrunner : Date of Birth : 1st of Summer, 512 Title/job : Son of Dalor and Melen. Description : A charming little boy, with a lot of initiative and an inner love for animals. He is the pride of his parents and enjoy being the centre of attention. Laena Windrunner : Date of Birth : 25th of Fall 496 Title/job : Daughter of Toril and Suwan. Ashka's cousin. Skills : Cooking 20, leatherwork 20, horsemanship 15, sewing 10 Description : Laena is a quiet girl of frail build, never speaking much. She is docile and soft and often in charge of the everyday small tasks that helps the Pavilion's life as she has not developed an interest in any particular skill or craft. Also notable, she has not bonded yet and her skin remained free of windmarks. Kelis Windrunner : Date of Birth : 64th of Spring 499 Title/job : Daughter of Toril and Suwan. Ashka's cousin. Skills : riding 25, trapping 10 shortbow 5 Description : A wild-haired and lively young woman. She loves to compete with boys in speed and agility and does not give up easily. Her love for racing and speed has brought Zulrav's attention onto her person and sometimes she feels like the god is speaking to her.
