Considered one of the most mysterious cities in Mizahar, Alvadas is called The City of Illusions. It is the home of Ionu and the notorious Inverted. This city sits on one of the main crossroads through The Region of Kalea.

The kelvic girl walked into the busy blacksmiths, wanting to buy a new weapon. What kind, she wasn't sure.
She had assumed herself lucky that this place was in the same location as it was last week, but when she heard people chatting outside of the place, she was impressed. It must take resilience to stay in one place for a month in this city.
Inside, there was a plethora of weapons. It would be an amazing sight for who knew what they were. However, she couldn't tell a dagger from a sword. They were all just metal to her, though it would of perhaps been a better idea to have come prepared.?
She had wanted to find something to protect herself with, instead of just her fists. As she knew that they just wouldn't work as well against someone with a weapon.
She had her claws to protect her usually, but this form was different. People had things that could make them fight better than they usual would be able to without them. She didn't see the point in them, really.
After all, there would always be someone better than you. She was only here out of neccesity for protection.
She got some strange looks in the store, with her oddly coloured eyes and constant joyous demeanor. Attention was something she was used to, her looks and taste in clothing demanded it at times. She liked attention anyway.
She wasn't getting attention from the workers though, and was ignored when she asked for some, whether they heard her, she was unsure. Choosing to believe they didn't, she continued to look through the weapons with a faint smile and a slight look of confusion on her face. |

Arisia turned around to look at the man behind her as he spoke, he appeared to know what he was talking about. This was confirmed by the amount of blades he carried on him. It looked more like addiction than neccesity to her, but she didn't say anything.
"Yes, I was going to go with something like that, as they don't appear to be too hard to use."
Her voice was light and airy, though an undertone of distaste ran through it, as if she didn't want to be here. The reasons for her distaste were simple. For starters, the weapons didn't make much sense to her, they seemed unnecessary, for people had fists too.
And secondly, the horde of vantha-hunters which were in the store with them. They were gathered on the other side of the store, some haggling for cheaper prices and some were browsing for a weapon.
When he mentioned the vantha hunters, she nodded in agreement before speaking, her tone bitter and almost angry. "I suppose I should before they take all of the weapons to go on their hunt."
She picked up a small and light blade, glancing over it. It wasn't as good as her claws of course, but it would do. |

She agreed with the fact that looks could he decieving, as she had first hand experience of that herself, and she was sure it would be no different for weapons.
Sighing slightly and glancing over at where the vantha-hunters were, her voice still full of disdain, but calmer now. "I suppose I should be careful, I don't want to be a target myself."
It was extremely hard for her to hide her emotions, especially when it came to something like this. Her first instinct was to protect herself, but that didn't mean she didn't want to claw there faces off. She felt a bit like she was betraying her mother when she didn't do anything.
Arisia carefully adjusted how she held the blade when he suggested it, she was still confused, but at least she knew how to hold the blade now. That didn't mean that she would be able to do any damage with it, bit she supposed it was a start.
She nodded in agreement to his next words, "Yes, I suppose I should buy it, thank you for showing me how to hold it, by the way.".
Pushing through the crowd, she made her way over to the workers, and hurriedly made her way back through the crowd, cursing quietly under her breath in vani when she got away from them all. |

She stepped out of the building quickly, breathing a sigh of relief as she was glad to be out of there.
It was extremely disappointing to her, how cruel people were in there. She felt sorry for the poor vantha who were attacked, some of them weren't even marked.
Arisia wondered whether she would have been attacked, if people had known that her mother was a Vantha, and that she could speak Vani.
It didn't make sense why they would be willing to take another's life in return for money, for a bounty. It didn't seem worthwhile to her. She didn't understand the other race's obsession with money and trading, when she could just hunt for food herself, what was the point?
She stood back and examined the blade she had brought. It was a small cutlass, a straight blade made from shiny and silver metal. It seemed like it would be fine for protection, and she put it in her bag carefully.
Walling away from Kitrean crafts, she began to walk to, somewhere. She hoped it would take her back to somewhere she recognised, where she would end up, she wasn't sure. She enjoyed that about this city anyway.
Arisia noticed the person she had been talking to was a bit ahead of her, amidst crowds of people. He did seem to know a lot about weapons.
Contemplating for a moment whether she should ask him to teach her, she walked up to him, walking beside him with a grin.
"Hello! Thanks for telling me about how to hold that earlier." She then smiled slightly shyly "Also, I was wondering if you could teach me to use it." , she paused and then spoke again "Oh, I'd pay you of course." |

Briefly, she considered that what she had said might of sounded a bit abrupt, which was often something that happened, as her lack of social skills caused her to be a tad rude at times.
Shaking the thoughts away, having decided that it didn't matter, she listened to him respond, he claimed to not be a very good teacher. That didn't really matter though, a teacher who didn't think he was good at teaching, was better than no teacher at all.
She noticed he seemed a little hesitant about agreeing to this, a fact that annoyed her slightly, but she spoke with curiosity at his next words. "Flexible?" She spoke her word like a question, slightly confused at what be meant by that.
She didn't have any skills to really teach him, if he wanted to learn something in return, and there wasn't any other way to pay, other than money.
He suggested that Arisia took him to somewhere safe to teach her, where there might not be danger of her stabbing herself or him.
She thought to her self for a moment, it wasn't as if she knew anywhere. Arisia was new to Alvadas, having only come this season, so she didn't know anywhere where they could go really. If she did, she didn't think the city would take her there anyway.
"I guess there's my inn room, but I don't really know anywhere else in Alvadas, I'm new to here." |
