Description "Alex Common" Alex thoughts "Myrian" "Fratava" "Others"
After a good morning of negotiation and speaking to the owner of the cubacious inn Alex had finally, finally managed to convince her to allow him to switch rooms. However he over paid a little for the remainder of the time of his stay. A small price to pay for one of his two charges not having to sleep on the floor every night. He picked up the second key from her and was told to move his stuff pronto. Which in Alex’s mind meant a lot of weapons and a couple other bits and pieces. As he’d have to give the key to his old room back the second he was done with moving everything.
Alex agreed and marched up the stairs to find his now old room and the two charges that lie within. Knowing it was still early morning he spoke not a word on his travels. Wanting to see the look of surprise and delight on their faces that he’d opted to change rooms and give them some more space to move around and sleep in. He let out a small chuckle to himself stopping to think. Perhaps this might actually mark a bit of newfound cheer in them. Or at least a little bit more comfort. Having to hide them in a room as cramped as that was doing very little for their spirits he could easily tell that.
Finally he arrived back at his room and gingerly slid the key in the door not knowing if they were asleep or awake yet. As usual though he thought it’d be smarter to not take his chances and instead opted for the slow and quiet approach not wanting to wake them he’d just sneak in and start shuffling his blades across in bulk. He pressed his weight into the door lightly so as not to let the hinges creak nor scrape the wood along the floor. And inside he didn’t know fully what he’d find.
