Hello, hello people of Alvadas.

This post is about JOBS, something of a hot topic recently. I've talked to Bedlam about it and we got our ideas down on the internet and now we would like to tell you guys how we are going to do things from now on.

If you want employment within the city you go directly to the place of which you wish to work and ask the NPC for a job directly. (PM a ST first)

Jobs are given by Storytellers, pay is also dictated by them.

To earn full payment you must do AT LEAST 2 threads involving your PCs J-O-B (I know this is different than what I have been telling people that have asked me, but 2 is the official number now)

Your character CAN have up to 2 Jobs, but you have to be aware that you will almost no free time :/ The pay will also be the same as with your first job so you can earn up to double the money in one season.

Question to the mods: Do you have a policy concerning abandoned threads? I know some do and some don't. Like for instance if your thread partner vanished and you put a lot of work into a thread is there anyway to get them graded or would it be allowed to solo finish the thread as long as you don't god mod and the other person is in a position where they don't have to do anything?

Just wanted to clear this up for future reference. Thanks guys.

Abandoned threads can be treated in multiple ways.

One, you could just submit it for grading saying that it was abandoned. I know YOU will still want your xp/lore, and so the player leaving should not disqualify it.

Two, you could finish it, but make the character you were interacting with leave in a logical manner. DO NOT KILL THEM, Fela, that is for you. We all know how vicious your character is.

So yeah... You hit the nail on the head there (Who is mod again?)

Hahaha, maybe That is assuming you could open a void fast enough before you get clobbered. Though I haven't read the Voiding lore in quite some time. Maybe voiding parts of them? lol

Just a friendly reminder for all those with employment within Alvadas. The end of the season is coming up and if you have not reached your 2 thread quota you might want to get on that to receive full pay. Also, at the end of the season please PM one of the storytellers of Alvadas with links to the 2 job threads (and any more you could have done), the position that you are working, and the miza amount agreed upon and we will award you your gold
