40th, Summer, 517av
The Watch had issued a discussion meeting about the scarce resources outside of the Tent City. Hunters have gathered into groups, and water was told to be limited until further notice. Ever since Morwen and her lack of responsibility, summer was nearly going to end- and it looked like it could end faster than it seemed. It left more than a few hunters wary of hunting outside of Endrykas. It caused more of them to group up.
The meeting took place at the centre of Endrykas. Where many people gathered around to hear what the Watch had to say. Ramona had came with her bow, and quiver. She hoped that things would go well. She was always optimistic. There was always room for hope.
Ramona was on top of Anthem, and had enough of a view of the surrounding people and the Watch. With a wary, but hopeful smile- she really didn't know what she was doing. At first, she thought that she had spotted a familiar face. Though, quickly shrugged it off, as she thought that it wasn't who she thought it was.
Throughout the season, Ramona encountered a lot of different things, and different people. There was so much originality within Endrykas; that Ramona was so sure that they would come around. She was told of how her people had carried through during the pox in 513. That didn't seem as bad as the droughts though, and the famine. The lack of food and water was obviously bad, especially with Fall being right around the corner. Ramona could feel the cooler air, but Syna was still beating rays of burning heat.
"Other predators have become less vigilant and more risky. They're going hungry, just like us. Some are even patrolling just outside Endrykad. Our home. We need to protect our home, and be safe."
Some of the crowd mumbled and spoke quietly Ramona wasn't paying attention.
"The Watch advises that we hunt in groups. It would be easier. At least groups of three. No one hunts alone. Return your food to Spit Fire, and other tents that are willing to preserve our food. We need to keep it well maintained."The man of the Watch said. Everyone nodded their heads, and Ramona followed along.
"Hunt in groups. It would be very dangerous to hunt alone."The Watchman stated.
Ramona escorted Anthem backwards, and she knew she spotted someone familiar.
"Waisana."Ramona said, pleasure, "I didn't expect to see you here."Surprised?
