Stretching northward along the coastline of the Suvan Sea, the Cobalt Mountains are the home of the Bronze Wood, numerous ruins, and creatures both strange and fantastical.

Zerodyne had seen Kaeliinthia's hesitance to go into a city, maybe there was something there that she truly didn't like? He groaned to himself as he looked to Niah, unsure exactly. "We could take shifts on the fire...honestly I...I'm not exactly sure if I want to pack up camp just yet." He said, making it seem as though he had other business to attend to in the forest.

He stared at the slowly dying fire and bent over to pick up some wood. After throwing in a few twigs and pieces of dry tree limbs. He turned to Niah and gave her a small smile, no doubt the women would want to return to the city and this would give himself some time to adjust to his new body as he would not have to interact with Kaeliinthia much at all if he could help it.

((OOC:I'm not sure at the moment, but I'm thinking staying in cobalt will bring more interest in a twist))

OOCNiah has to go back since she doesn't really have many things with her. Perhaps if Kaeliinthia wants we can go to the main gates and everyone can meet at a later date in the city or the woods.

Niah shifted from one foot to another... they had horses, bags and a tent. She on the other hand had only her daggers and wasn't really fond of sleeping in a tent in the middle of winter. Returning to the city seemed like the perfect option for her. Plus she had promised to show Kaeliinthia the way.

"The city's quite nice if you don't mind the whole rock and stone thing. If you don't like brawls you should stay away from the taverns after nightfall. I can show you to the stables and the Traveler's Row where you can rent a good room at a decent price."

Kaeliinthia's eye twitched as both of them offered separate things. City, people.. Brawls?... Forest.. Her mind spun with confusion as she was invited to both, being unsure what to do. I've never been in the city, but I hate people... I love the forest.. It would be clear to them that she was talking to herself in her mind.. Her face questioned at ground as she placed hands on her head.

Kaeliinthia, did in fact have some kind of insanity to her and it would have been made clear to the two. Although, it was also made clear she was friendly and it wasn't a insanity that made her an outcast even though she made herself that way by staying away from cities.

Zerodyne looked at the two of them and shook his head slightly, not really sure why this was such a hard decision to make for them. He didn't really care where he went. Well, that was untrue. He would prefer to be out in the woods so that he may be alone and get accustomed to his new body and practice using it. The small and agile body was something he wasn't used to.

Clearing his mind of future events he returned to the present situation. "To avoid any discomfort I would suggest that she might stay out here, though it is cold she...is welcome to share my camp as I believe I will stay as well. If you want, maybe you could stay with us? I know it might sound too appealing but...camps seem a little more homely with other people" he ran a hand through his dark brown hair and just looked at them, not exactly sure if what he had just said made much sense.

Niah pondered a bit. It was still light outside, it wasn't overly cold and her cloak was warm enough. At the most she could even spend one night in the woods;if not she could lose an hour or two in order to make sure the two don't kill themselves.

"Very well, I'll remain here a bit as well. I see you are opposed to entering the city and who am I to judge you. There are a lot of lunatics inside anyway. So what do you propose we do now?" She wondered whether the two strangers' horses would get along better than their masters, then she frowned at the random thought. "Were are you heading, Kaeliinthia?"

Awakening ((Open))

Postby Kaeliinthia on February 1st, 2011, 11:15 pm

Kaellinthia let out a subtle sigh as Niah agreed to stick around for a bit before turning to Syl'cysi and whispered in her ear as if Syl'cysi could hear her. "Don't worry, we aren't going to the city.." Syl'cysi snorted and shook her head up and down. "Oh don't give me that!" Kaeliinthia said towards Syl'cysi as Kaeliinthia began to unload all of her equipment off of Syl'cysi's back and placing them on the ground.

Kaeliinthia trusted Syl'cysi enough to not tie her up and let her roam around the camp. "Well.." Kaeliinthia began. "I need to set up my tent.." She gave a slight nod and continued.. "I don't head anywhere specific.. I just.. Wander."
The way she had said this, Niah and Zerodyne could tell she was nervous and unsure of how to speak around people or even talk about herself.

Zerodyne looked at the two of them and grabbed his crossbow, he returned it near the shortsword and small chest of other bolts and small items. He would let Kaeliinthia set up her own part of the camp and try his best to maybe ignore her. After checking to make sure his pony was still tied he turned to Niah. "Are you going to be staying the night here? Or just hanging around?" He felt as though he had to as there where only two tents, she would have to stay with either one of them should she decide to stay the night in the camp.

Zerodyne didn't need sleep really, but his new body would probably work better if he attempted to give it some rest, the next day he might try to head out and travel, so that his 'past life' didn't catch up to him. He would not want to deal with anyone that would have known him. He also pondered weather or not he would run into anyone that knew this body's identity, that was always a hassle to try and explain.

Kaeliinthia was disturbed by something; people, crowds, cities, Niah knew not, but clearly the woman was trying to stay away from anything that was close to the above mentioned things. Niah on the other hand prefered the city to wilderness any time of the day. In the wild Ara had been caught and help captive and that didn't bring back memories, so Niah was adverse to spending a night in the woods even in the company of people who sounded remotely ok.

"I'll just hang around a bit... make sure you two have company. Then I'll return to the city." she told Zerodyne and settled comfortably on a rock, giving Kaeliinthia enough space to set up her tent in pace. Grabbing some more twigs she threw them in the fire and wondered what may have happened to the two to make them both unsure of their destination.

Postby Kaeliinthia on February 2nd, 2011, 3:32 pm

Kaeliinthia looked to the two as Niah sat down before turning away and walking to the outskirts of the camp as if knowing that Zerodyne did not agree with her company. She whistles for Syl'cysi and she trots over to Kaeliinthia. She lets out a subtle frown as she goes to sit down on her knees and rolls out the tent. Placing her backpack, rucksack, and other equipment beside her. Then, standing up, she walks over to group of trees and picks up any leaves, twigs, or dry tinder to start a fire.

Kaeliinthia steps a few paces in front of her tent and drops the things she collected. She was very quiet, keeping to herself. She begins to set up her tent, piece by piece. As she finishes up, she circles the tent, making sure everything is correctly placed.
Walking over to her bunched up equipment, she picks up a tarp and unfolds it carefully before attempting to throw it over the top of the tent; just in case it rained. She kept failing, if it didn't go over the tent all the way and fall to the other side, it just didn't cooperate with her. She gave a frustrated sigh before trying one more time and finally getting it. She hooked it to a piece of her tent so it did not blow away, in case the wind picked up.

Zerodyne looked at Kaeliinthia and noticed she had gone farther off than he had thought. "You don't have to be that far away, we could just have one fire instead of two separate camps." He said to her as he resumed his position by the fire, noticing there was already a chill beginning.

"Niah...what did you mean by not really there?" He asked, recalling something she had mentioned about when she was in the city at times. The way she had said this had seemed like she had been avoiding saying something.
