Descant Shepard Basic Information Race: Kelvic (Animal Base: Cheetah) Birthday & Age : 1 ½ (Appears 18) Gender: Male Physical Description He stands at about 6'1, his build is that of a runner, lean and athletic. He has medium length black, spiky fauxhawk that he cut himself with rusty pieces of metal he would find in the pits and calm, yet alert, golden eyes that constantly watch his surroundings.He has dark tear lines that easily mark his Kelvic decent, running from the inside corner of his eyes and running all the way down to his jawline. His fingernails are thick and black like that of his bestial form, can be used for fighting if necessary.His movements often look very planned, quiet, cautious....especially when hunting. His body is very flexible, his spine allows him very fluid movement, which complements his well used speed. His skin is a tan shade, in contrast with his very dark hair. His mouth is rarely open except for speaking, so it may be hard to tell that he has elongated canine teeth. He isnt really accustomed to wearing any clothing, being that in the pits, he and the other Kelvics fought naked. It made it easier for them to shift back and forth between their human form and animal base. His body has a countless number of scars for anyone to see, mostly claw and bite scars. Character Concept Descant isnt much of a talker, most of what he says is short and to the point, rarely poetic and beautiful as most might prefer. He views the world as one that is cruel but inviting all in one,though he doesnt trust in the slightest. He has some severe mental issues, finding it hard to trust anyone at all. Being in the pits meant that if you made a friend, you'd either have to kill them, be killed by them, or watch them killed by someone else, none of which are situations he wished to be involved in. But from all that he'd been put through as a young Kelvic pitfighter, he developed post-traumatic stress disorder. While this disorder causes paranoia, it also causes whats called Hypervigilance, which Descant has subconsciously used to his advantage. He studied the other fighters so much, animal base and human form, that he can exploit those weaknesses in his human form, rarely needing to shift to his animal base. He often has nightmares or flashbacks of past fights and the violence that fill his past. He doesnt exactly care much for anyone that isnt himself, being that he's had to survive like that for so long. He doesnt like much but doesnt dislike many things either.
