Hi guys, just wanted to pop in and say hello. I've been on a long hiatus from RPing ever since burning out while modding on Aelyria years ago. I'm sure most are familiar with writers block or burnout. :wasted:

I've been wanting to stick my toe in the water again and I remembered that Goss had made this lovely place, so here I am.

Hopefully I can get back in the groove and enjoy roleplaying again. I look forward to writing with all of you.

Btw question for anyone. Where would be the best city for an artist to get a job? Since my character is new I don't expect her to manage her own business yet. So are there existing locations where she could work? Thanks!

Hey there and welcome back!

As for your question, Alvadas and Riverfall would likely be your best bet for a budding artist but it all depends on your character and her backstory.

Riverfall is a gorgeous city where a Konti would feel at home (if she's not intimidated by the attention of all the Akalaks) and has an Art Gallery where she could work at and eventually sell commissions through.
Alvadas is a city of illusions and it seems like a fun place for creative types like artists, musicians, actors and writers.

There's also Ravok but that could be tricky for a non-human. You are always welcome to create a new location, as well

I was looking at Riverfall since a Konti to would feel more at home near the water. I didn't know it had an art gallery.

One more question, since I plan to start in Riverfall, what do I list on my charactersheet as my home. Is it the apartments at the Kuahala Estates or is it just a cottage? Some direction would be very appreciated. Thanks!
