 Race: Konti Birthday & Age : 82nd Autumn 487 AV Gender: Female  Like many of her kind, Lirael is small in stature standing at 5”3’ and weight in at only 105 pounds. Unlike some Suavi dancers or combat trained Konti, Lirael lacks strength physically. Despite her age, Lirael’s appears to be similar to that of a 16 year old human. Although, by looking at her closely, one can easily discover that she most certainly is not human. Lirael’s fair skin is outlined with elaborate white scale patterns that twist lines around her upper legs and travel up the sides of her chest. These scales join those that run up from her wrists and spiral around her arms which are iridescent in the light. Another inhumane feature that Lirael retains is her gills on each side of her neck, and her lightly webbed toes and fingers gifted by Laviku. Both of which are a great assistance when swimming. The gnosis mark from Rak’keli traced upon Lirael’s right palm is also something that is difficult to miss. The spiralling design is coloured with an assortment of blue opal shades, being almost comparable to a shimmering tattoo. One of her most prominent features is her lavender shaded eyes. However, these eyes are often hidden behind wisps of fair blonde hair that Lirael takes advantage of when feeling shy or when she does not desire attention.  Although Lirael is rather timid, this trait is more often than not overcome by her intense curiosity. Softly spoken, Lirael could be described as being naïve by some, and innocent by others. She is very sensitive, causing her to become easily hurt verbally whether it was intended or not. She would be more likely to stand back and take a hit than to retaliate in a fight, be it physically or through words. Strangely enough, her timid, sensitive nature does not extend to some aspects of life that others may find stomach-churning. This being, Lirael is not afraid of blood or sicknesses. This trait grew in her ever since she had first come into existence. Lirael is still unsure as to whether she was marked by Rak’keli because of this, or whether her tolerance of such things had grown because of the healing gnosis. Lirael is quite the dreamer, rarely having her feet placed firmly on the ground unless focussing on healing. Just as Rak’keli has blessed Lirael with a gnosis mark, Avalis has blessed all Konti with an ability that acts as a type of second sight. Lirael was granted the gift of truth-sensitivity. This ability allows her to discern lies in speech, or rather, detect whether a person believes what they are saying to be truth. However, there is another aspect of her truth-sensitivity that is far more unpredictable than the first. Lirael can occasionally sense the basic truth of things in general. For example, if seeing a kelvic in their dog form, Lirael may perhaps be able to sense that they were something more than a regular dog. This aspect of her truth-sensitivity also gives her an underlying sense of whom she can trust and whom she should keep her distance from. Lirael is an active worshipper of both Avalis and Laviku and will often look to them for guidance, feeling very honoured to be born into the beautiful race that they created. However, Lirael is an even more devout follower of the goddess who granted Lirael the healing gnosis mark, Rak’keli. Lirael is quite intrigued by the ability, and will not hesitate to heal those which are injured, be they stranger or friend. She loves being of assistance to others, feeling as if it gives her more of a place in the world. Lirael loves music and admires those with the ability to sing. However, Lirael herself does not have any talent in singing, which she is often reminded of by her disconcerting attempts whilst she believes nobody to be listening. But the stars stop to listen when she picks up her reed flute. Lirael loves the instrument to death and is constantly experimenting with different styles of flutes. Lirael may love the aura of the music even more than she loves the sound. She has grown up with a passion for magic which she kept mainly to herself. She decided to pursue this passion through the study of Auristics which was learned through old books in the Mura library. Funnily enough, she does not yet take too much interest in the information that Auristics can bring her. Instead she is more focussed on the aesthetics of the magic.   LOL I DELETED MY CHAR HISTORY. (To be re-written in the near future) In a nutshell: Lirael lived on Mura her entire life with her mother and younger sister. She was born to an Akalak father who she has little knowledge of. She received the 'Call' and decided it was time for her to leave Mura and explore the world in search for her place in life. Her family's parting gift to her was to set her on her journey well-provided by hiring a wilderness survival guide to take her to Syliras. This is where her story begins.
