Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

Well, just another day, right? Hopefully this one would be more interesting. What happened yesterday? Oh, right. He saw a fish. It was a pretty fish, but not an interesting fish. Not enough to peak his curiosity.

Sitting in the corked bottle, Galeno was not at all a very happy Pycon. He hugged his knees to his chest, resting his chin on his forearms. This was not adventure. This was not fun. At all.  The only thing Galeno had to entertain himself was that paper the man who stuffed him in the bottle left. "Free to a good home" it said. That insulted the Pycon very much- he was most definitely worth more than the price of nothing!

Galeno noticed that the water had become shallower, the floor a white dappled green. Where did that mean he was? He wasnt a very good navigator. He knew up and down, and left and right. That was it.

Spotting a flash of white and silver beneath him, Galeno jumped, jostling the bottle in the water a bit. He got on his hands and knees, peering into the water. That must have been one big fish. And- there it was again! Wait... Was that... Clothing? The three-inch Homunculus tilted his head, and blinked. Where was he? No matter. He wanted to get out of the bottle. But, then, the waves began getting choppier. The Pycon fell backwards a bit in the bottle as it bobbed in the waves. Looking up through the water-splattered glass, he saw... A boat. A boat! He could call for help! Oh, wait. He was three inches tall. That wasn't happening. Galeno didn't want to get sucked under a boat! He sunk!

So, he knocked his hardest on the bottom of his confinement frantically, hoping to get attention.

Tiaan

It had been a while since she been out on the waves, and it was obvious enough she missed it, not only this but she missed Cleo too when she was away from the water too long. Feeling the fresh air fly through her hair and the scent of the salt water invigorating her. This boat was much better than her old one and she loved to have it now.

Just then she heard Cleo clicking, slowing the boat she leant over the side, "Hey girl, what is it?"

The dolphin opened her mouth to reveal a tiny figure, at first Tiaan thought it was a toy, but then she noticed it moved. Leaning over she took the little figure and looked at it curiously. As she looked it over she racked her mind, she did know something about this figure, but it been so long since she opened a book, it never really occured for her to read up more. Still the figure seemed a little confused.

Shrugging while holding the clay figurine carefully she replied to Cleo, "What you think Cleo, think we should just fling it back."

A series of clicks and squeaks made it clear Cleo disagreed.

"Why old girl?"

Cleo said nothing in reply but dived down and grabbed a fish. Meanwhile Tiaan just stared at the figure shivering a little, it was certainly strange. But part of her figured this seemed right, besides it's not this figure could do much harm. Lifting the anchor, the water drained off slowly.

"Well little guy, Cleo seems to like you so I guess I've no choice. I'm Tiaan, just know I'm not the greatest person, many would call me a bitch."

Shrugging she wondered where she was to head now, her hand cupped the light reddish man.

Mura.

Naeya's hands shook with excitement (or was it nerves?) as she stepped off the white and blue swan-shaped boat and onto the planks of the White Isle harbour. She could barely believe her own eyes. Konti Isle! After all this time, all this travel, she had finally arrived at her mother's homeland. And it was beautiful.

After brushing wind-blown blonde hair out of her eyes and hitching her pack further up on her shoulder, Naeya began to tread towards the lovely two-story building that stood between herself and the city. Her thoughts were consumed with hopes, questions, and fears. Where would she stay? What would her mother's family be like? Would she finally be able to master her gnosis, Avalis willing?

Once she reached the front of the building and passed through its gorgeous white wood doors, Naeya immediately headed towards the city's gatekeeper. She was a pretty blonde Konti of indeterminate age, as most Konti tended to be, with striking green eyes and a hospitable smile.

“Hello and welcome to Mura! What is it that you need?”

Naeya offered a warm-hearted smile of her own in response. "I've just arrived from Zeltiva, and I'm looking for somewhere to stay for the remainder of autumn," she replied. "Would you be able to recommend an inn or lodge?"

Directions to the Pearl Divers Inn were helpfully given, along with a suggestion to visit the Taviasa for temporary employment, and Naeya was soon sent on her way.

Her first journey was over. Now, the second one would begin.

Oh, dear gods and goddesses above, he was free. He was FREE. out of that horrid bottle, he didn't feel nauseous from the roll of the waves, or sick of the ocean. He was free....

The Pycon flopped down on the flesh-covered woman's hands, gratefully stretching himself out. He rolled his shoulder with a content sigh, and then looked up to the girl. He blinked slowly. "Hello." He said tiredly. He wasn't exactly sure what a 'Bitch' was, but he assumed it wasnt good. No matter. "Tiaan? I am Galeno. I think. At least that's what I remember being called." he shrugged cluelessly.

"Thank you." He sighed gratefully, sitting cross legged on the palm of her hand. "You don't know how long I've been in that horrible bottle. It was so cramped and lonely..." he reclined back in her hand, closing his eyes with a pleasant sigh. "But now I am free. I am in your debt." He opened his eyes, "Do you know where I've floated off to? Where this is?"

A newly freed Pycon was a curious Pycon.

Tiaan

Looking at her charts on the bench near her she approximated they were near Mura, in fact she could see the distant buildings. She tried to remember why she had been coming this way, but alas could think of nothing. Placing the figure down on the the bench, she noted the intricate work and skill put into it. Still she had to struggle to hear it, but managed to just be able to.

"Mura, and I don't think you want to be in my debt. Things ain't all rosy here."

Shrugging she wondered where to go now, as she had forgotten her reason for coming here, guess she would just need to head somewhere, although she preferred being on the sea, being in crowds or surrounded by people tended to make her very anxious, the sea was calming and welcoming. It was like the parent's she never had.

"Oh? Well, then. I'll just be off. I see the harbor. My thanks to your friend and yourself."

With a mock salute, he leapt off of the boat and slid down the dolphin's slick body, sitting on top of his corked bottle as he floated off, using the end of his paintbrush as an pear, steering himself towards the dock...

30th Day of Fall, 512 AV

Though it’d been a small price to pay, Sybel frowned as she twisted the single Gold Miza between her fingers, rolling it agitatedly across her palm. She’d never been over fond of boats, especially small ones and her stomach churned treacherously as they sailed. Grasping the rail, she peered absently into the water.

Konti Island was a key destination in her lust for adventure, it’s people holding at least one of the most valuable resources a person could trade with – their legendary pearls. It was unlikely that she’d get her hands on any but anything was possible she told herself…

The vessel lurched sickeningly and she swallowed to keep her lunch down.

Of course, there were less superficial reasons for her pilgrimage. The women there were rumored to be skilled healers and Sybel was in sore need of both a companion and a more fruitful goal. Her aimless wandering didn’t yield much pay and she would run out of funds before the Watchtower’s end. That general lack of productivity made her as ill as the boat ride. She’d certainly seen better days.

The ship was made to resemble a dolphin, which she supposed was meant to be quaint. The narrow deck however struck her more as disturbing than inspired and only worsened her already degraded opinion of sea travel. A person should only sail in the event of a Svefra party and nothing else. They certainly knew how to celebrate.

With a beleaguered sigh she glared at the waves breaking against the hull.

It was not too long (though she couldn’t say for sure) before they pulled into White Harbor. Sybel nearly pitched the coin at the boatman and scrambled off the deck before the few other passengers had a chance to even rise. The solid sensation of land beneath her feet was a glorious comfort. Her roiling stomach immediately began to adjust.

“Hello and welcome to Mura! What is it that you need?”

This was certainly going to be interesting. “Nothing,” she replied smoothly, “but thanks.” Courtesy was unavoidable on this particular island - so much that it was a trademark of their culture. Sybel flashed the clerk a brief, white smile as she passed. After all, she already knew where she was off to: The Pearl Diver’s Inn.

Drawing her cloak about her and inhaling deeply, she struck toward the heart of the city of Mura.

Fall 60 512 A.V.

"This is so boring" Tinsel thought while on the boat.
She was amazed by the view. Konti Isle sure was beatiful, with all the colors of the sky and the sparkle of the sea. She wanted to put up her easel and paint what she saw, but the waves rocked the boat too much.
Instead the thoughts of why she had left crossed her mind. Being an outgoing and not that melancholic akvatari was quite outstanding back at Abura, where she was born and raised. She still remembers the tales she heard when she was little, about the White Isle and the Konti women. Ever since, Tinsel daydreamed about moving there, and here she was. The boat slowly arrived into the harbor. She was so excited, she just couldn't wait for the boat to stop. A golden miza landed in the boatmans palm just as she herself landed next to a Konti woman.
"Hello and welcome to Mura! What is it that you need?" the young woman asked kindly.
"Could I please have some directions to the local inn?"
The woman told her how to get to The Pearl Divers Inn and in a couple of seconds Tinsel had already disappeared.

Winter 40th 512 AV

She couldn’t believe it. She was finally in Mura. Nira’lia felt something inside her tugging her further, wanting to set foot in the isle. An urge within her wanted her to jump off the boat at that moment and swim in the waters that surrounded her mother country.

As they stepped off the boat, they were led towards an intricate looking place which held those who welcomed visitors.

“Hello and welcome to Mura! What is it that you need?” asked a young and pretty woman.

“Hi, I’m here from Sahova…” she said in reply. It appeared to be the protocol, or perhaps Mura was such a tight city that they knew exactly who its residents were. Even if Nira’lia was a Konti, they knew she was not from around. “It’s my first time in Mura, but I will be staying for a while… probably at the inn.”

The woman nodded and smiled, and directed her towards the inn. Gleefully, Nira’lia thanked her, and wondered where she was going to go first.

Postby Ball on January 9th, 2013, 12:55 am

40th of Winter, 512AV

Ball and his trusty mount stepped off the bout behind Nira, the spherical pycon was deathly afraid of the wooden structure and the watery depths that surrounded it. After the attack on the Lagool the poor Pycon never thought he was going to get away from the hellhole alive.

When Nira was asked what she was doing in Mura and her responses, Ball just motioned towards her, "Wid. He.Ur." ['With her.'] Then he followed Nira off to the inn, keeping as close by her as he possibly could.

Graders Please Note :
As Ball is getting closer and closer to maxing out Pyken as a skill, I would like to request that in places where Ball is not doing enough to constitute Pyken XP if Pyken technique lores could be issued instead.

Examples of proper XP level for Pyken would be: Ball developing or refining his technique by adding new thing against an actual moving target, not a dummy.

The use of basic skills alone are not enough to accomplish XP at Ball's current level of Pyken.

Thank you.

I will be handling all Ball related posts on Mondays @ 1800 my time *
