Eldon was up early. As per instruction, new linen bandages had been wrapped around his wounded body. His lower ribs required his torso to be wrapped, his bicep required its own length of linen covering what was once a whole from a bolt. Early, so early. This was a tricky situation, but after parting with Arabella two days before, and not been able to see her since, made him eager to know of what happened. Was she alright? Was she found out? Sure, they decided it'd be best to limit their scandalous meetings a little, and a single full day obeying to that did not seem very true to that agreement, but he was concerned. Sure, he was lasting after the girl, but more importantly was her well being. If she wasn't well, he needed to know. He cared too much not to. Eldon slid a shirt over his body and stepped outside of the Sunkiss pavilion, and without so much of a hesitation, Eldon made a direct line to Vanah. His friend and trusty Strider. A beautiful beast she was, but today, Eldon needed her help. Eldon saddled up the horse and climbed onto her back. His first stop of the day, Starweaver Pavilion. Eldon took a deep breath, this was playing it very dangerous. It was both sly and devious. Nerve-wracking and overwhelmingly exciting. It wouldn't take but a few minutes for Vanah to navigate Endrykas and reach their destination. Starweaver Pavilion. He had known Kayiri for about two seasons now, and already experienced several meaningful hunts with him. It would seem natural that Eldon would show up to see his friend, perhaps another challenge in accuracy, a payback almost. But no, that was only his ploy. Eldon hopped down from Vanah's back and strode up to the tent, pushed open the flap that acted as a weak little entrance, and poked his head in. "Hey Kayiri? You here?" As he had hoped, Kay was not around. Now, if only he was gifted with the amazing luck to find Arabella here. He needed to see her. |
