Character Concept
Behn is a man that can accurately be described as 'Petched-up-beyond-all-reason.' After suffering the loss of his lover and daughter in Ravok, Behn found that everything he lived for was lost. Yet still the will to survive was strong. After several years of surviving for the sake of surviving, Behn had altered into a man with motivation and purpose, but no direction.

Behn now has an interesting view of justice and righteousness that could be considered more towards insanity than true justice. Behn fears that darkness is taking over the world, he feels he can see the corruption in the lives of people who are both innocent of true crime, and guilty of truly wicked deeds. Behn finds himself often thinking that death alone can cure such a villainy in others, a villainy he fails to see within his own self. Behn feels not for the laws of cities nor does he trust in the bounds of his own people, the human race. By humans he was betrayed, and it is they that he hates above all.

Behn cannot be around Zith, Symenenstra, or Myrians because of his views on their lifestyles, and should they ever meet, Behn is likely to try and cleanse them with a quick death, fearing not for their families or true selves, but only in his ideal perfect world.

Character History
Behn wasn't always a solitary man. Years ago he had lived in Ravok, a human, generally untouched by the stench or corruption of chaos and fear. It was in the year of 503 AV when Behn had everything he could have wanted. A beautiful woman, Aeyane, who loved him, promise to marry him, and was pregnant with a daughter they would soon have. Life was good, despite where they had chosen to settle down in life, in Ravok. Behn wasn't going to let such a place destroy his life though, not risk his wife-to-be's safety in such a place of demons. He planned, thought everything through. He was going to leave Ravok with her, as soon as the child was born, as soon as Aeyane gave birth to their baby girl, they were going to leave. For Zeltiva, for Syliras, for anywhere except Ravok. It didn't much matter where, just as long as he protected them, which was only so much easier when you didn't worry about Rhysol watching you with hunger.

His plan never had time to take action. As everyone knows, life doesn't stand still, time never slows no matter how much it feels like it. Behn could not hover around his pregnant lover all day, everyday, no matter how much he wanted to. He had a living to make, a family that needed support, and him playing the role of a guard dog wasn't going to bring in money, or more importantly, food. A day in the wilderness, that's all it was, a single day. Behn knew it was unnatural to not see even a sign of some living beast. Not a bird, nor elk, nor boar, nor rabbit. He couldn't shake the feeling that this was some sort of ill sign, as if Rhysol had gifted him with a lingering curse that made everything within a mile radius flee from him. Behn, today, only recalls the intense chills he had that warm summer day as he walked home, defeated, spooked. Needless to say, he made his way straight home. But Ravok had already been there.

Behn had commanded Aeyane to never open the door, never have it unlocked, never allow a soul to know she was alone. This worked for two seasons, no worries. Two seasons, however, he had never experienced a door bashed and shattered into the splintered fragments of toothpicks. The door was not torn off its hinges. No, it had been obliterated, byt axes or something blunt but very strong. A strong coldness infected his spine, his arms tingled with an infecting numbness. Behn rushed inside. Rushing inside to hopefully find his wife startled, but unharmed. But that was probably the worst thing he could have ever done. Entering that small home was like taking a solid punch to the nose after each and every new sense came to him.

The smell was heavy, sickening. Behn could smell the blood on the air, it was fresh, new, as if Behn had missed the criminal(s) by no more than an hour. Behn was already demoralized, his body falling to his knees in defeat. A new scent, more foul, less familiar, but still recognized was there. The bitter scent of semen was so strong that it was actually noticed through that blood-stench. Behn tried desperately understand how that could have been so. Something so vague be so strong. It made him sick to think about it. The rape, how many times it would have happened, and even through his eyes were stung with pain, tears already poured from his head like streams of raw agony. Behn couldn't hold it, not anymore. He turned his head, vomitting what little he had eaten that day by his side. That was a foul smell, but almost welcomed as it fought for dominance over the blood and semen.

Behn walked slowly, awkwardly on his knees until he was kneeling over the woman. Her eyes were closed. Sewn shut even. Behn's hand slowly, gently for fear of disturbing what he absent-mindedly hoped to be nothing more than slumber, stroked her eyelids, wanting to feel some sort of vibration, moving eyes, anything. There was none. "Aeyane..." His voice trembled, a quake of emotion turning, spinning violently in his gut. His head was clouded by questions, uncertainties, the inability to make sense or comprehend what had happened. He wanted to die, he wanted to leap into those dark waters of Ravok and rest at the bottom until his life was stolen from him. At least then Rhysol couldn't take him.

In a daze, it might have been an under exageration, but that's what it was. The only thing keeping him from fainting right there and then was some strange will, some psychotic feeling that kept him awake to see this. It was like that feeling that possessed a person to learn that which did not immediately benefit them. Behn had to learn of this. His hand traced slowly down her eyes, across her cheek, down to those lips. All he could think about was how often he had kissed those lips, and now they were cold, lifeless, tainted. His fingers continued to trace downwards, down the neck that was red with the distinguished shape of a hand, a large hand, having been there. His finger moved, down to her stomach.

Never before had Behn screamed so loud, nor heard such misery in someone's voice as he did that night. The stomach was cut open, like she was some animal. Behn had overlooked it before, her naturally beautiful child-bearing rounded was deflated, shredded, and it was gone! Behn didn't dig inside her stomach, he couldn't, but he knew that child was taken directly from Aeyane's stomach. His tears blurred his vision, but not enough to block out what had already been seen. Crying, sobbing, cursing Rhysol and Ravok with all his might, his anger, his anguish. His fist beat the stone floor with such a fury that his knuckled began to swell, the fragile bones began to crack, some broke, his fingers ached and begged for mercy. There was none. No mercy for Aeyane, no mercy for Behn.

Behn had, in only a few hours, lost everything he held dear to him. His lover who was to be his wife. The child that was so close to birth, stolen by some monster of Ravok for the purpose that only the most evil of Gods could know. After thoroughly breaking bones in his hand and biting his lip with enough rage to cause a steady bleeding, Behn sat down, his energy was lost. His will to fight, gone. Slouching, then falling to the floor, Behn could only stare at his butchered Aeyane. Her eyes stitched shut. "I'm so sorry." Apologies were worthless now. The damage was done, Aeyane was gone, Behn was lost.

For Seven years Behn lived in the Wilderness or for brief moments in towns and cities across the Sylira Region. Sometimes he would be in sunberth, others in Syliras, Nyka was almost visited but Behn thought better of that decision. Eventually, after seven years, Behn decided his life was withering and his soul was suffering. He knew well that he had a gift in this curse of losing his lover and child. He had a sense of justice and what was right and wrong. he moved to Zeltiva with little more than coins in his pocket. He had, since childhood, dreamed of being a pirate or sailor, though now only the latter was acceptable by his odd morals. The dream now seemed so real, something to work towards, and Behn was determined to reach that goal. In Zeltiva, behn wasted no time in visiting the Sailor's Guild, where he met two interesting figures. The first, met by a cheapshot to Behn's kidney, was Captain Hanver, a pirate and all around rough man. The second, and much more attractive and important, was Captain Selvia, who both rescued Behn from certain death by flying knuckles of the pirate and hired Behn into her crew.

This didn't last long though.

Behn was abandoned by Captain Selvia and her crew as they left Zeltiva, leaving Behn behind for unknown reasons. Behn, now, has chosen to pursue the greatest and vilest of villains of Mizahar. Murderers, rapists, child abductors, Behn wishes for nothing more than to soak the earth with their blood.
