Like a Teddybear With A Chainsaw... (Seliarus)

While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

OOCLet's wrap this lovefest up, shall we?

Her feverishly bright eyes had darkened, smoldering with barely contained desire. Paranoia held no sway, not while something else held her. Not while her Bondmate held her in his arms. But where paranoia did not dare encroach, her animalistic instincts held no such qualms.

Nida felt the faint pressure on her shoulder, tugging forwards insistently. WIthout hesitation, she pressed herself against him, adjusting her position so that she straddled his lap. She could feel his desire flaring through the Bond, wildfire through a dry field of grass. It crashed like waves upon rock, meeting with hers head-on. There were no compromises here, no delicate suggestions nor intimate whisperings of feelings. It was the unspoken need to join, to love another, to banish loneliness with their warmth at your side. But the old Nida, the one who had been so careful regarding such feelings, spouting words more fit for a naive lovestruck human girl-child, was gone. In its place sat a wilder girl, uncaring for such folly, so much closer to her true form. A leopard in a human skin, and it was famished.

She reacted quickly to Seliarus' movement. As his lips met hers, she pressed against them hungrily, drinking in the sensation. The explosion of feeling was quickly absorbed by the ever present fire, and his touch only fanned the flames. Nida's hand disentangled itself from his, moving to place itself behind his neck, brushing lightly against the new Chevas mark.

When they came up for air, she would simply stare up at him in silence, looking at her Dhani with a possessive and hungry gaze. Mine. Mine, all mine. They can't take him. The thought repeated itself, much like the vow had, echoing in her head. True, she'd known that he had been partially hers when they had Bonded, but never as wholly as now, and had never looked at him with such possessiveness as she did at the moment. If anyone happened on the two, Nida would have gladly assumed they wished to take him from her. She would have ripped their throat out, drank their blood, and supped on the body. With a vengeful happiness, she would have done these things, with a smile on her face, and mirthful laughter on her lips. They can't take him.

It would be no use to ask her who 'they' were, even if someone could manage to read the tangled jumble of thoughts that was her mind. The stress of the journey, and her worry for the Dhani had built up so much that her brain no longer functioned like it used to. Thought patterns were disrupted. Every person was an enemy. All threats. They were all enemies.

The Dhani stayed there, where he sat, throughout the whole happening. He listened, he spoke, yet not moved at all. The only movement, were his ever-oh-so-cautious eyes, dark as the night itself, which were looking at the Kelvic. Who was, much, much more than a kelvic now. She was more before, that was sure. But, after that vow of his, followed by hers, yes, she wasn't a Kelvic anymore. She was simply...Nida. The girl that the Dhani loved with all of his breath. All of his essence. And she was there, sitting in his lap, not speaking a word. Only looking. Yes, they were looking at each other. And only one kiss wasn't enough. No, not anymore. Sel, stopped to mind the cold around him minutes ago. Now, he felt like there was no cold at all. The two bodies wrapped into one, was much more than any sun could provide. This head, was made out of true, deep emotions the two held for each other. Love, care. Hate. Yes, even though he forgot about it for a moment, he could feel the hate growing in her. A tickling sensation of murder came to mind. Yes, it was too long ago since he felt blood on his skin. But, that could wait. Yes, everything could wait.

He had her, now. As his hand still rested around her shoulder, he could quite well feel her own hand, around his neck, where before that stinging pain of the Chevas mark was. No more pain, however, was in him. His free hand, slowly slide down her frame, slowly resting on her thigh, gently, with care, caressing the place there. In his eyes, Nida was simply perfect. And, the only thing that was better that that, was the feeling, that he could call her his. Yes, his. Siku be praised, his. He did not speak, as there was no need for words. And at that moment, their lips would meet once more.
"Who knows? Life is like a roll on the dice. You can’t know if something is a good, or a bad roll until it already happened."

She felt his touch, breathed in his scent, and was almost overwhelmed by the wave upon wave of emotions that it tossed at her, trying to batter her into submission, to become the love-struck child once more. But subconsciously, her paranoia would not submit. It wanted to stay as it was, wanted this new control over the girl's actions. Unaware of the internal battle, Nida stayed frozen in her position, feeling his fingertips trace along her thigh. She could sense desire through the Bond, and though that very instinct coursed through her as well, it still was utterly foreign to her. It governed her actions, yet she hadn't the slightest idea of what it was.

But the press of his lips against hers quickly silenced that question. He was still so careful with her, as if she was a porcelain doll. Nida kissed him hungrily, headless of rhyme or reason, of delicacy or gentleness. He tasted like regret in the shadows of trees and the glow of rain forest's humid climes. She kissed him long and hard, and when she pulled herself away, she touched his mouth with the index finger of one hand. The other, she placed upon his hand, the one that currently rested on her thigh.

"Tell me. Tell me what you want. Tell." She demanded, almost growling, looking up at him questioningly. Nida was not someone who liked being confused, and she wanted to know what this feeling that came from his side of the Bond was. What this desire was. The Kelvic gripped the fabric of his cloak, pulling his face down so that it was level with hers, their noses brushing against each others. "Tell."

The Dhani grinned. A slight touch of amusement filling his presence, as he got pulled down. His Bondmate was getting more and more confused with every moment they spoke. Innocence, yes. Unknowing the delicate side of life. The one many did consider taboo. Others, simply didn't think about that. Sel didn't, until recently. He could quite easily explain the new, unknown feeling that coursed trough his body. Then again, the Dhani do mature slowly, and can consider themselves adults only after one century passed. Even if he could understand it, how was he supposed to explain it. Not that he knew in what he was actually going, but, just as most of his actions in the past, it just felt right. After the kiss was broken, her finger only soothes the emptiness it created. Just like a drug. Addictive. Horrifying. The feeling of knowing you should stop, but your body simply worked on it's own. Horrifying, yes, but yet so good. So pure. The feeling was a mixture of both. He , if he had the chance and undo it all, to start again from scrap, wouldn't do anything to prevent this of happening. A double-bladed sword, if he could express so himself. Love. Passion. Desire. Yet the fear of harming her, of scaring her, brought him to a hold. Insecure of his actions, the Dhani was. Afraid, even though that feeling was new to him. Even with her around, he slowly was losing his control. Even if he might seem calm on the outside, this was simply too much, too soon. Living for this long, but without any guidance. Yes, years didn't matter here.

He wasn't used on listening to her demands. On her hostility. And even though he would like to answer, his now blurred mind spoke the opposite. This wasn't a question of trust or not, of answering her demands, or not. Fear was the thing that did hold him back. But, even fear couldn't withstand the other feeling he still carried for her. The feeling which maybe wasn't as strong as desire itself, but much more important, even for him. It was love, still burning beside the bigger flame. And that feeling soothed the fear. he knew that this moment of desire might pass sooner or later, and that he will be able to think clear again. But that wasn't a problem. No, not for him anymore. He had her, after all. The Chevas mark proved that. Love was going to stay. So he hoped. So did every inch of his body hoped.

"Tell?" He'd look at her, not minding her finger on his lips. He spoke freely. "What I want? Only one thing." He'd pause for a moment, looking in her eyes. "You." He'd answer her question. Her demand. Her growl. Yes, trough the bond, he could feel the confusion. He knew he needed to explain further. Not just for her sake. If not else, he needed the explanation for him. Want you, like a man wants a woman. He'd continue in his head. No, that was a bad example. Pathetic human feeling. Feeling. Fear. Why now? The answer was obvious. He didn't want her to leave. Yet, he didn't want to do anything if that wouldn't be alright with her. And, the Bond didn't help. it was supposed to be a decision made by her on her own, not just by the bond. His male instincts, as strong as they might be. He hated to listen to what his nature told him, but, then again, he stood no chance. Caught in the moment like that. "You." He'd answer again, this time with no doubt in his words.
"Who knows? Life is like a roll on the dice. You can’t know if something is a good, or a bad roll until it already happened."

OOCEnding here alright with you?

Control, oh that funny little thing. Something she used to want, used to crave. Gone, all gone. Why would you need such a thing? Restricting what you did? No, Nida no longer wanted this 'control'. She wanted instinct, she wanted love, and she wanted hate. Control was no longer a factor, not for her. Seliarus could have the control, for all she cared, as long as that rationality never invaded her mind again.

"Me?" The young woman laughed, the sound filled with a twisted form of amusement, ringing clearly in the silent winter air. But nothing took notice of the two small figures, they were in their own little world. Nida laughed the laugh of a madwoman, before leaning forwards to rub her cheek against his.

"Me?" she repeated, "You have me, you silly hatchling." Nida grinned fiercely as she called him what he'd once called her. But times had been different then, tinged with fear and distrust, of relief and sadness. Bloody skirmishes and realizations of weakness. Their past seemed a world away.

"You have me." The Kelvic would gently pull him forwards, more gently than she'd done anything since he had followed her to this clearing. She was still confused by this feeling, but it did not matter now. Confusion didn't matter. The fact that she didn't understand what this emotion that flared so strongly in both of them only heightened her insistence. Unless Sel resisted, she would continue to pull down, not stopping until they both lay on the snow covered ground. The Kelvic's small pale hand tugged at his cloak clasp insistently. As she did this, Nida kissed him again, again tasting the shadows and regret and desire on his lips. But she would not allow her decision to go unanswered, and the kiss was punctuated with sharp tugs against the cloak clasp.
