Weekend Challenge (28/29/30/1) - June/July

Mizaharians!

It's time for another weekend challenge!

I won't promise quest level prizes this time. I'm not sure what to reward the slackers in us all. But this challenge will definitely be interesting as I will award for word count for sure. Starting tonight at midnight and running through monday night at 9pm.... we are having a placeholder and job thread challenge.

Who can get placeholders fleshed out and finished? If you don't have placeholders outstanding (you must be new or dead?!?!) then you can substitute job threads for placeholders. Ironically usually job threads ARE placeholders.

Each thread needs to have your PC learn some sort of lesson. It can be a tidbit something tells them about their past, a new skill, or even an aspect of someone's personality... anything counts. Please tell us the most interesting things your PC learns in their thread.

To count... each thread needs to be at least 2.5K long. I will count total word count overall. And I might give bonus prizes to those who learn the most interesting things.

I don't have anything to catch up on, but finishing my job threads early is not a bad idea. I'm in!

Elephants in the Room - wc: 3,002 - finished
lesson learned: Quite a lot of things about the care and feeding of your pet Ashta.
Really, mostly just how to put on their harness so they can pull lumber and manure around the settlement. She also learns a bit about Lars's past, about Akalak and Riverfall, and meets Tony Swiftwater.

Super interesting Tidbits: Roh was basically forced into a new timeline, which changed her, even if she doesn't know it yet. She learns of Avalis and her gnosis, she learns a painting technique, and she joins about thirty people in creating a mural for Rhysol... where she paints the back of the canvas with her short but strong prayer.

Truth has always meant a lot to her. And will continue to mean a lot, even in Rhysol's domain of lies.
