Yura walked in the Red Diamond. It was a cold night, she needed something to warm her up. She glimpsed over at the bar briefly. Doing so almost made her turn around and walk out. A young man named Rayoris was tending the bar. The same young man she had bashed in the back of the head with the pommel of her sword. As she turned around, she stopped and glanced back at Rayoris. He really was attractive. Her eyes shifted to a light powder blue as she looked at his face. Oh petch, the things I do to get on the good side of cute boys. She turned back around and took a seat at an empty table close to the bar. I hope he doesn't hate me. she thought as her eyes changed to a pale shade of pink.

Calming the Storm (Chesh)

Since Ykala's retirement, Rayvoris Winterflame had been given the position of running the Red Diamond Tavern. He liked the new job although it did keep him a tad bit more busy than he liked. He was happy that he was now flanked by three other employees instead of the Tavern's old staff of just two people. The Tavern was not extremely large but it was homey. It had forced Rayvoris to grow up a bit being the head of this homey establishment. A wave of his old immatureity washed over him as he spotted a familar face making her way to a table on the side of the tavern. His eyes flickered a bright yellow and he nodded to one of the workers washing cups and plates in the back. "Keep an eye on the bar, I have some business to attend to." The Winterflame nodded, dropping the mugs into the water and strolling up to the counter. "I'll be back in a moment. This should not take too long."

"That little brat has some nerve stepping into my tavern." Rayvoris would have gotten angry but he had leverage now. Ykala's kind watch over the tavern was passed down to him and if he wanted the girl out, she would be in the snow in no time. He strolled up to the table calmly and sat down accross from her. "So look who desided to slink back into my tavern. If it isn't the little minx that knocked me out on my own front steps. I heard you got knocked out real good in the cellar. Serves you right." His eyes glowed a bright green as he spoke. "You gonna pay me back for the mizas you stole?" Rayvoris' eyes bore into Yuralria's as he spoke. He was going to intimidate her although it was only because she humiliated him. He would not stand to be humiliated by a girl especially one as young and small as her.

Calming the Storm (Chesh)

Postby Yuralria on February 23rd, 2011, 12:05 am

Yura was slightly shocked when Rayoris approached, and when she saw the angry look on his face she was slightly scared. Shyke, he's pissed. When he spoke however, she was a little offended. 'You know, I would appreciate being given the benefit of the doubt here, you petching Vagik' Her eyes started changing to and angry red ' I was going to pay you back double, and apologize, but you...' She cut herself off. She needed to chill out. this was not the way to handle this. There was a time she would have just gone off the handle. She really had to stop that She struggled to hold back as she continued. 'Take your petching mizas, and get the hell out of my petching face!' At this she slammed six gold mizas on the table and loked away, mumbling curses under her breath. The breeze she had made friends with a few days ago to seduce Rayoris blew playfully around her head, trying to cheer her up, but really just ticking her off more, ruffling her long, unbraided hair around. 'Would you please stop it? I don't want to play right now!' She shouted, probably looking like a nutcase.

A calm blue color came over Rayvoris' eyes as the mizas fell to the table. He had not expected Yuralria to actually return the money she stole. He looked at her sadly and drummed his fingers on the table. "Should I give in this easily? I am upset she knocked me out but she looks so sad." His eyes turned a lilac purple as he looked at her. He opened his mouth to try to calm her down but she seemed as though she was already fighting with someone else… or thing else.

A wind blew playfully around Yuralria, dancing in her long hair. "Yura, the boy is flirting with you. You must try to stop being so defensive." The wind blew over to Rayvoris and whispered in his ear. "Rayvoris…" He looked over to Yuralria with his eyes a bright shade of orange. "Huh? Yeah?" He looked at her confused. "Did you say something?" The wind creeped back over to Yuralria resting next to her ear. "Try it again, this time try to use a little bit of your charm you hide so well. You are bound to make more friends if you try to be a little… softer." Rayvoris looked at Yuralria with confused eyes. "Are you okay?" He eyed her skeptically. Was she one of those people that Whitevine tended to not get out of the healing center? One of the sad souls that heard voices and saw things that were not there? If she was in fact one of those people he did not want to be the reason she got sent back to their quiet halls. He might have been a little bit interested in the girl but he didn't like her enough to put up with random bursts of crazy dialogue to people who were not real. He liked crazy, but not that crazy.

Calming the Storm (Chesh)

Postby Yuralria on March 1st, 2011, 6:48 pm

She calmed slightly. The wind was so innocent sometimes. It was kinda cute. She looked back over at Rayvoris. He had an odd look in his eyes. 'Oh shyke, I don't suppose you could ignore that?' 'Guess not'In an answer to Ray's skeptical look, she slipped off her cloak, turned around and slipped the shoulder of her shirt far enough down to show a bit of the swirling mark given to her by Zulrav. 'I'm not crazy, I promise. I talk to the wind. That voice you hear that night was a breeze whispering in your ear.' Yura said with a bit of a sarcastic tone. She smirked a bit before continuing 'I'm sorry I blew up on you, I'm really trying to work on that. I just really don't like being confronted. It's a flaw.' Her eyes changed back to a subtle blue color as she continued to calm down, and she flipped her hair back over her shoulder. 'I really am sorry, I was kind of mad at the world that night. She smirked up at the bartender again. This might not end so badly after all. 'There, I said it' She commented to the breese Forgetting to consider the fact that Rayvoris was still standing right there.

Calming the Storm (Chesh)

A quickened pace took over Rayvoris' heart as Yuralria slipped her sleeve down to show off her gnosis. "Yeah girl, slip it down a little farther." Rayvoris' eyes turned a wolfish yellow as he looked at her. "I don't quite see what you mean. Can you pull your shirt down a little more?" He grinned as he looked at the swirling mark on the girl's back. He stared at it, almost hypnotized. "Nice tat girl. I never knew Drakal was so talented in his tattooing." He reached out to touch it but pulled back knowing Yuralria would have quite the fit if he attempted to touch her back.

"You talk to winds? I think you are in major need of friends girl." What kind of person just spoke to the wind? This girl lived with Whitevine hold, why did they let her get away with talking to the wind? Weren't they supposed to negate strange behaviors like that? "I'd be your friend Yuralria. I'd be ever more if you wanted me to be." He winked at her as his eyes turned a bright blue. "Don't worry, I forgive you. Well all have our moments where we get a little crazy."

"See look at that. It's all better and he is even flirting with you." The breeze played through Yuralria's hair. "Is there a draft in here? Why is your hair fluttering?" The idea of Yuralria's gnosis had gone right over his head. He looked around looking for an open window. All of the windows were closed tight though. He simply shrugged and smiled at Yuralria. "Strange... Anyway, would you like a drink? I cannot serve you alcohol but maybe something softer?"

Calming the Storm (Chesh)

Postby Yuralria on March 21st, 2011, 8:40 pm

Yuralria smirked at Rayv "Hmm, Someone is a little pushy.... And slightly dull." Yuralria shook her head " I'm going to say this very slowly. My hair is fluttering because I talk to the wind. I have a gnosis mark from the god of storms, Zulrav." She said very clearly, not afraid to sound slightly jerkish.

As cute as he was, she wished he would use his brain. The breeze ruffled her hair again. "Do you have to be so sarcastic?" the breeze asked playfully, to which Yura though 'of course', though she didn't state it out loud. She drew a little closer to Rayv, and adopted a slightly sarcastic demeanor. "Now, aren't you a little old to be flirting with me? Yura smiled to herself, she really enjoyed messing with people.

Calming the Storm (Chesh)

A mark from the God of Storms? Rayvoris had never seen one of those! He had only seen marks from Morwen, Rhaus, and Rak'keli. "Well it certainly adds to your beauty." He gave her a crafty smile while his eyes took a light green shade. "Admit it, you love it when I am pushy. It's less work for you. I just tell you what I want."

The talk of Gods interested Ravyoris a bit. "Do you talk to Zulrav a lot?" Rayvoris tried to think of what Zulrav would be like. Morwen seemed to create a lot of storms but did she have help from Zulrav? The wondering about Zulrav did not last too long though. Yuralria had already distracted Rayvoris again. "Aren't you a little too young to be drinking? As I recall, the last time you were here you got a little buzz." Rayvoris shrugged has his eyes turned a light purple. "You would be bored out of your mind if I didn't flirt with you. Besides, you love it. Why else would you show up here?" He raised an eyebrow to the girl as a mischievious smile took over his lips. The wind seemed to nod by the way it toussled Yura's hair. "He has a point you know..."

Calming the Storm (Chesh)

Postby Yuralria on May 4th, 2011, 12:13 am

Yuralria laughed inwardly to herself as Rayv suddenly changed the course of a conversation that was slightly intelligent back to her, and flirting with her. It was kind of ridiculous, he couldn't be that dull. Or maybe he was. Either way, he was kind of cute. The playful little breeze that had been egging her on decided to continue doing so. Tousling her hair in an affirmative to Rayvoris's statement. "Okay, maybe he does, must you keep messing up my hair though?" She asked the breeze jokingly.

The wind suddenly started to pick pick up outside, and Yuralria felt something, a presence that almost seemed familiar. She decided to ignore it for now, and continued her conversation. "You really don't believe that I just came in here to apologize?" she inquired with mock-innocence "I might just want to be able to come here for a drink without you staring daggers at me, so I decided to be nice." Yura smirked. "Okay, maybe there is a grain of truth in you words. But only a little bit." She said playfully.

Calming the Storm (Chesh)

Postby Cheshire on May 27th, 2011, 11:22 pm

Outside a storm was starting to pick up. It was not any simple winter storm of course. This one was watching the young Stormwarden. It whipped at the windows and knocked at the door was though it was trying to get closer. It wanted to join Yuralria with her male friend.

"Fine, you are here to apologize and I think I'll forgive you. I think, not I will. I need to be coaxed a little." Rayvoris tapped his cheek with his finger. A sly and devious smile played on his lips as he looked at the girl. His eyes shifted to a night-like purplish blue as he looked at the girl. He wanted to be closer to her. He did not care about the age difference. "What about you and I go look at the… wine cellar. I there are somethings I would like to show you… If you want to see them of course."

The storm picked up outside as the pair sat and talked. Rayvoris looked at Yuralria with a worried look. "You doin' that?" He motioned to the wind and snow raging outside of the window. "If you are doing that because you are pissed just let me know and I'll leave you alone. You Zulrav people can control storms right?" His eyes faded to a light blue as he looked at her. Maybe she didn't want get closer. Perhaps she was just a fickle little girl.

As the storm howled Rayvoris was starting to get scared. He looked at her with fearful eyes shifting to a light pink. "What is going on out there? Those winds could knock the tavern down!" Zulrav was knocking at the door and he was calling for Yuralria
