Take The Leap! Placeholder Challenge [2/26-3/2]

The Placeholder Challenge!

Yes, you heard that right. The rest of this week and throughout the weekend we are going to have a Placeholder Challenge! Got a placeholder that needs to be filled out? Take the challenge! For every filled out placeholder - which must be a completed thread of at least 2.5K words.... you will get a point. Points double if the placeholder is from last season or older. Players with the top points will get prizes in first second and third place ranges. Word counts will also pay out cash prizes. New placeholders will count, but only for a single point per thread. This challenge is designed to help players fill out their old job threads, adventures, wrap up old plots, and earn cash to start.

Please keep track of your word counts. Word Counts will factor into the prizes. I'll post the rewards Monday or Tuesday along with the list of winners. Contest ends on 3/2 at 9pm PST.

Please note below if you are playing and fill out your note with your thread links and the TS of each thread to qualify for being considered for prizes.

I'll be hopping on board for this challenge too! I'll most likely only be filling out current placeholders because I'm trying to get a certain plot done, but this is a bit of extra motivation.

Challenge Prizes!

So for this challenge - and probably some of the future challenges - I'm going to offer up something a bit different. I am going to offer Challenge Coupons! These are going to be coupons placed in your character's SS thread that can be redeemed at your character's leisure.

The winner will get three coupons, second place will get two coupons, and third place will get to pick a single coupon. If you have multiple coupon picks coming, you can pick out multiple individual coupons - all different - OR you can choose multiple coupons of the same type.

Here are the coupons.

A DIVINE APPEARANCE COUPON - This coupon allows a player to roleplay a god or goddess appearing in their thread without moderators running the divine entity in question. The player can have the god task them, council them, or even do unspeakable things to them. The only limitation is that any divine activity be limited to the scope and scale of the God or Goddess' sphere of influence. This is an appearance only. These players will not be allowed to grant themselves boons or special abilities without HD approval. Curses, instructions, divine words of wisdom and counseling are all allowed. Moderators will be allowed to intervene if these coupons are misused in their opinions.
A NEW WARDROBE COUPON - This coupon allows a player to shop the price list and buy themselves a new wardrobe including multiple outfits of clothing and footwear. The clothing must be of the type available in the Character's region of RP and be known to the character. The wardrobe must be completely listed and must not exceed 1000 gold.
ARMOR FIT FOR A KING COUPON - This coupon allows a player to shop the price list and buy themselves a complete set of armor off the price list. The armor type must be available in their area and not valued beyond 1000 gold.
10 DAY WIND EAGLE TRIP COUPON - An Endal is talked into taking your Character anywhere in Mizahar for a ten-day vacation before returning them home. This is a free trip to the character and requires no travel cost. They must pay food and lodging wherever they vacation though.
EXOTIC PET/MOUNT COUPON - Ever want a pet panther or your own Bloodbane? This coupon is your ticket to having this sort of pet or mount. Wild animals in Mizahar are not pets and are not allowed to be kept as pets unless there are special circumstances. The same is true with exotic mounts . This is one of those special circumstances. The character must still have enough animal husbandry/horsemanship of a sufficient level to take care of their exotic pets properly. (Ixam's are restricted to young adults, not the elder giant exotic variety!)
DIVINE IDOL COUPON - The divine idols - as listed in the wiki - can be acquired with this coupon. The coupon is limited to one idol and said idol must not be currently in gameplay. Aquisition of the Idol happens in gameplay.
HOUSING ACQUISITION COUPON - When purchasing a property in a package deal off the price list, this coupon allows a buyer to get a 50% discount on the total package they purchase if used at the time of purchase.
ARTIFACT COUPON- This coupon will allow a character to be able to acquire an artifact awarded in a past challenge that has been approved by Gossamer for acquisition. Custom individual quest and extra powerful quest items (from more involved challenges) are excluded.
