South of Stairstep Falls is a vast flooded mangrove that has partially filled in and been seeded with palms. These palms grow all over creating a sea of fronds. This is the main source of Syka's export when it comes to coconuts and coconut byproducts. This is also the main source of thatching for many of the roofs found in and around Syka. There are no seasons of growth for these palms. Instead, they are continuously fruiting and have a wide variety of green, mature, and overripe coconuts year-round. However, the Sea of Palms is not exactly safe.

Creatures exotic and magical dwell in this unusual forest, some of which are far more aquatic than terrestrial since the mangroves are always flooded. There are, however, a million pathways through the thick overgrowth, of which the main thoroughfares are kept maintained by the denizens of Syka. The Sea of Palms could easily house all kinds of ruins and lost Pavena items, both sunken and lofted above the vegetation. It simply hasn't been explored enough other than for harvesting for folks to be sure. Rumors sure indicate these thoughts are in fact truth.
