Emmeranne is a woman short in stature, standing just at 5'0 with a lean and somewhat willowy build. She is a woman who is quite literally shrouded in shadows. From her straight steel-grey hair that turns jet black at its tips, to her pupilless black hues, to her milky clear complexion that seems to highlight her gaunt features. Emmeranne is the very epitome of darkness. She neither stand out nor fits in, she simply exists.
Much like her human form, her crow form is exceptionally small. She sits at about 35 cm tall and weighs roughly 11 oz with a wingspan of 22 cm. With feathers that seem to reflect the night sky and black eyes the size of a small pebble. Emmeranne also has stubby talons and an elongated straight beak that protrudes a little too far out.
Character Concept
Emmeranne is a quiet and soft-spoken woman whose curiosity often gets the better of her. Though she may be petite, she is ruthless when it comes to protecting those she cares about and she will stop at nothing to do so.
She often uses her ability to blend in for less than desirable activities, her favorite being pickpocketing. Emmeranne initially spent her days as a pet to her best and only friend Ari'Ellin, but soon learned to hone her skills and become a useful part of their two-person team.
Character History
Emmeranne was a babe born from disgrace. Birthed by a mother who didn't want her and left to rot on the street by a father who wished she had never been born, Emmeranne's existence was undesired from the moment she took her first breath.
Loneliness doesn't begin to describe the feelings that began to fill her. Though she grew quickly, Emmeranne was still left on her own, alone in a city that she knew nothing about. She was a child who should have never been born.
Though most would think such devastating thoughts would eat away at one's mind and soul, Emmeranne quickly moved on. She let her instincts guide her and found that being in her animal form was far more useful than her human one.
Days upon monotonous days passed until she met a sweet blonde haired woman that originally thought her to be nothing more than a pet. Her attachment to the woman was swift and though she was able to hold the ruse for quite some time, Emmeranne finally revealed her human form to the other woman.
It was then that she began to learn a flurry of different skills and hone traits she had only just begun familiarizing herself with.
