Mizuriel was right, even if Riki did not want to think of it. He hated the sight of pain but it was due to pain that he had recieved his most prized things, Sadie and his gift from Rak'keli. "You are correct Mizuriel. There is no doubt about that. I guess instead feeling remorse for the wounded it is better to make sure they are no longer hurt. Then there is no reason to feel remorse at all, right?" The silence would be the worst thing in this situation. If this dog died in Riki's care he could never face Ixal again. He knew that if Sadie died in another person's care. He could not hurt the person of course but he would hold a lot of anger against them. After the dog had been laid down Mizuriel let Riki know it was okay to go and help Kavala. Riki smiled at Mizuriel and patted his leg for Sadie to follow. "Come on baby girl!" Sadie simply looked up at Riki and wagged her tail. She wasn't going to leave the dog's side. "Fine stay here then. Mizuriel will take good care of you and your new friend." Riki did not want to leave his furry friend but he could not force her to follow either. When Riki made it back to where Lakara and Kavala were helping Ixal the pair had already finished up. He decided to simply report back to Kavala and then try to get the details of what happened from Lakara. "We washed the dog and she is now sleeping with Sadie and Mizu keeping an eye on her. It looks like you two got Ixal to a stable condition too. Not to bad for us all working togather for the first time!" Riki smiled and then looked around for Lakara. When he spotted the Konti he walked over to her side. "So how did helping the Vantha go?" He wished he could have helped the man as well but animals were his specialty. He had experience with healing people as well but even his father had told him he was more geared toward the healing of animals due to the fact he was so quiet. |
