The Astrologer's Abode was a bit of a teasing nickname given to Zeke Navid's home on the Sartu Peak by his friends, due to his obsession with astrology and his growing collection of books and notes. However, it ended up sticking, and Zeke took the name when he decided to turn his passion into a bit of a side-business in order to continue doing what he loved without worrying too much about income.
The ground floor of the home has been converted into a business; couches and shelves fill the room, and the ceiling and walls are painted a deep blue and decorated with painted stars and astrological symbols. The back room has a large skylight, and couches set up specifically for the ease of discussion. The second floor is Zeke's private residence.
All are welcome into the Astrologer's Abode; Zeke is happy to simply spend time talking people's ears off about his interests, and even more so to teach people who share his interests. While Zeke is getting better at using astrology to make predictions, he is not comfortable charging for fortune telling, as he is worried about being wrong or giving bad advice; however, on occasion, he might be willing to read the stars for those he considers friends as a favour.
Zeke's true business lies in teaching people astrology. Discussions are often held in the backroom at night beneath the skylight, and practical lessons are often done via fieldtrip to the Observatory. The Abode, while open during the day, doesn't tend to offer lessons during this time; instead, Zeke is simply there for those who wish to discuss the stars, history, philosophy, or other similar subjects. Lessons are almost always done at night beneath the stars.
