Favorite Book/s

It's obvious that all here in Mizahar are fans of reading/writing. So my question is, what is your all time favorite book/series?

Mine would have to be "The Wheel of Time" series by Robert Jordan. Now being finished by Brandon Sanderson, due to Mr. Jordan's passing...The series is a very detailed and original world. If you have never read any of the books(there are a good bit to), your missing out.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the entire series) - by Douglas Adams

Absolute genius on paper. I also love Marvin...

I haven't read a book in a loooong time... too busy with work, my son, and of course this site. But I do own a large collection of Forgotten Realms books that I use to devour back in the day. The Drizzt series was awesome and any book written with dark elves gets a thumbs up from me.

Syndre... I've been waiting for a sign to pressure me into reading that series again... Its been years and I can't remember the plot anymore, but I miss the characters.

Rob - Read it! If you like comedy, action, depressed robots, cow like creatures that are sentient enough to ask you to eat them and enjoys it, and space ships - you will totally love Hitchhiker's Guide.

I've ready every book by John Sandford... pretty much my favorite author period.

I have all the Drizzt books too, plus whatever book I can get my hands on by Elaine Cunningham here in my country (Sam, you owe me links to 2 and 3 of Counselors and Kings!!!), and some other random Forgotten Realms books. Also have/read a ton of Dragonlance novels. I loved the Lioness quartet by Tamora Pierce too. I thought His Dark Materials series (the first of was The Golden Compass) was great too, if depressing. There's another depressing series my sister made me read that I loved and hated at the same time too, but I can't recall the name right now...

Anyway, yes, my favorites in no particular order.

That explains so much. /me mumbles about situational cruelty.

I just got into it. I'm seriously hooked now, and I'm just on the third book.

What else....

The House of Leaves is great.
The Discworld series is the best ever. I love it. So much.
Anything by PTerry or GNeil.
I'm following the Skulduggery Pleasant series as well.
Loads more that I can't think of right now.
