Typically, Li is nothing more than an unincorporated voice. His voice has a smooth, low drag when he enunciates every word that passes through his teeth. When he does materialize, you’ll see a short and skinny man with rich dark skin and tight curly black hair. He keeps the curls twisted with oils tight to his head so he can wear his favorite hat, even though the sun hardly bothers him anymore. This style reveals that his ears are arbitrarily attached to his head with no appeal to symmetry, and often gives children a giggle at their crooked appearance.

Li’s eyes are a clay colored brown, and once upon a living time they would light up to a rich caramel in the sun, but now remain dull in their semi-corporeal eternity. His teeth are just as crooked as anyone’s, but obsessively cleaned, and gleaning with the off-white color of healthy bone. When Li smiles, his cheeks pull thin skin into hollowed dimples and branches of wrinkles form near his eyes. When he angers, his thick black brows clash at the top of his wide and flat nose. In life, he was scrawny and skinny, but always well dressed in the dark clothing traditional to Ravokians. Even in death you won’t catch him without his boots laced to the top, and his shirt neatly tucked in.

Does my character have the skills/equipment to survive here?
Absolutely not. He lived a comfortable life in Ravok, and thought Syka would be likened to a vacation. After getting here, he thinks the people are backward and feral, the work is too much, and the danger too prevalent. Li misses the sanctuary that Rhysol created in Ravok, not understanding why anyone would choose to live any other way. Survival is not his style… but luckily, he is already dead.
How is my character getting here?
His wife did not give him a choice, and he would follow her anywhere.
What can my character contribute?
A lot of heartache and pain.
What is my character’s motivation?
He loves his wife more than anything in the world, and would quite literally follow her to the very ends of the Earth. As far as Li is concerned… that is what Syka is.
