OLD [Syliras' OOC Thread] The Calm within the Storm

Hello there new here, and was wondering if there was a place that was abandoned that my character could hide at, hes a 12 year old boy who doesn't want to be stuck in an orphanage and doesn't want to get in trouble with the knights.... tis a question.

Hello, Thaos! Hmmm, not really, Thaos. Syliras is very controlled and watched by the knights. Street rats would not "survive" long before being found by the knights and sent to the orphanage.

And no, you are not stuck in the orphanage, you can do various jobs for the city and gain your own money! For example. Courier, caretaker, and others

Make sure to read the Starting_Guide if you haven't done so. Also you can apply for your job at the Employment center. See at the very bottom of the Price List for a list of jobs. Apply for the one that makes sense for a 12 year old boy (No mercenary or guard for example.

Okay I'm noticing a trend in the employment office and it needs to change. Listen, applying for a job here isn't the EXACT same way as you would in the real world. There are no phone numbers, or addresses listed so unless you stick around after you fill out the employment app they won't know who you are or where to find you.

I'm saying you won't have a job. So stick around and talk for a bit, your threads can wait. XD

Great! I can thread with you the days after a few dead bodies have appeared in the city. Granted we'll see where this takes us.

The root of the problem might be very well within our own detective circle.
